Yeah, but buying a season ticket for a team you don't like? That's a whole new level if commitment and quite frankly, bonkers.

Yeah, this is what I couldn't quite get my head around. A couple of games a season, yeah sure I can understand that, especially if I lived 200 miles away from my team, but a season ticket? No chance.

It also adds to the general LOLz, confusion and bemusement that there's somehow space for a neutral to get a ST in an 11,329 capacity staium

Phil Jones :D :D :D
To think, he used to be England's centre-back.

Utd have nothing in midfield...Fred, Prererria(sp?) and Mata was today's starting line up

If they lose at home to Mourinho's Spurs on Wednesday I could see Ole getting the push.

All depends on if Poch is willing to go there or not, I read somewhere that he has a clause in his severance package with Spurs that prevents him from going to another Premier League team for a period of time.

I think Spurs follow the Italian model of 'sacking' managers which means Poch has not actually been sacked at all and is still being paid his monthly wage until the end of his contract. If he takes another job he still has to resign and at that moment forfeits any more payments because it is him that has quit.

Which is neg8ed by the big wage he'd pick up at United, so it doesn't really matter

If Poch is availble United would be mental to not go and get him, he is exactly what they need right now. Give him a bit of money and he could turn them back into a top 4 club.

Let's hope he doesn't go there then.

Would be seriously ironic if Mourinho is responsible for his successor's sacking.

I had to really think about translating that (senior moment, I think).
But yes, also high on the ironic scale

Olé is way out of his depth tbf...not helped by not being properly backed in the transfer market

United have had a really low net spend (relative to revenue) for the last 4 or 5 windows.

The Glazers are taking the money out of the club. Think Utd has spent over a billion in interest/debt etc and only paid off about £150M of the principle (should really look this up but cba). Ed Deadwood should also be sacked. The last four managers are on him. I don't buy that it's down to him that Utd makes a load of money. There has been a general uprise in football club revenues (tv money, sponsorships etc) that he just happened to be around

Hoping that Man Utd win tonight.
Mourinho shown with a glum look after analysis of the low level of sides beaten by Spurs since he took over (West Ham, Olympiakos and Bournemouth).

Solskjaer gets to stay in the job to oversee their mid-table mediocrity.
