Maybe HRK only plays his best in National Stadiums..... If he can score the winning goals for us v's Arsenal and repeat the feat in the Final everyone will see there is a point in HRK and I for one will be happy for him to remain at the club as long as he wishes.

But until he does this he's a turd on a rope.

Another typically ineffective HRK performance today. Not one of his worst, but little of note, too many misplaced passes and rightfully substituted, albeit taken off later than he should have been.

Thought he played well throughout.

The whole team were 7+

It was his cross for the goal.

Keep doing the exercises. Your eyesight will improve (and, hopefully, your judgement too).

Are low expectations allowing a mediocre performance to be overstated here? The GetReading website is of course just opinion too, but Rate the Player has HRK languishing in 10th place, ahead of only Akpan and the substitutes with a score of 5.6.

He was certainly involved on the build up to the goal (kudos for that, for sure), but what else of substance did he do after the 4th minute against a woeful Cardiff team? He had a good performance from Obita behind him, a rock steady Ake alongside him, so should have been free to rampage down that flank. But what can you point to that led to anything of note? Did he beat a defender all game? Not to any great effect. Any shots? No. Some nice short passing with Obita and Pog was probably the sum of his afternoon after the goal. This is hardly a notable performance, unless your expectations are way low. I expect more from him.

Of all the over-paid wasters here he is the one I can't wait to see the back of the most. I just hope he keeps over-performing for Wales and someone stupid like Cardiff come along and pay over the odds for him this summer.

The only reason I can see that he put a half decent shift in for the first 25 mins yesterday was that Chris Coleman was at the game. Sadly could not keep it up and reverted back to form.

Thought he was pretty good
Less involved after getting clattered - maybe even a bit concussed?

Actually that is a fair point. He was floored by one hell of a shot. It was so quick I didn't catch whose shot it was

Pretty sure it was McCleary and equally sure it was going in!

Typical that his only other useful contribution was getting in the way of a goal bound shot by one of our own players, do they teach him nothing on international duty in Wales, i'm sure gareth won't be happy if he gets his mug in the way of one of his shots

It always surprises me the amount of opposition fans that think he's our biggest threat and the player to watch. That really does sum up how bad this season has been!

It also sums up how much opposition fans remember the name of a player who scored the odd decent goal and does a couple of good things that make the highlights.
