Alan Shearer's Euro 96:When Football Came Home

by The Cap » 02 Jun 2016 12:58

With the build up to the Euros, the above named programme was on Beeb 1 last night and so I'm assuming a few people caught it. For those who didn't, it was a really good insight and well worth a watch

Red button has England Scotland 'as live'.

Andy Goram was a monster.

Which one?

I was idly reading about him and found a gem of an anecdote.

While struggling with fitness towards the end of the 1993-94 season, Goram was allowed to have a family holiday. He ended up missing the Scottish cup final after being stranded in Tenerife with no passport or clothes.

And I'm still not happy with my performance after being Andy Goram at Hampden Park at the end of the 93-94 season.
