Old Man Andrews Everyone's favourite Norwegian team, Bodo/Glimt 3-2 down to AC Milan currently.

Great effort, shame it wasn't at their home ground.

Very unfair that Orient got kicked out the Carabao Cup, even though it is the rules. Doubt spurs would have been kicked out

Wrong thread but I disagree - player safety has to come first and in this shortened season being unable to fulfil a cup fixture has to mean expulsion.

My concern about it though is as testing isn't required in the EFL there is now a precident that will likely see clubs refusing any testing, if offered by PL clubs as they will be worried by what they may find. Ignorance is bliss and all that.

Atletico Madrid put 6 past Grenada. Luis Suarez came on with 20 minutes to go and scored 2.

Could have been 5 or 6 as well. Hoffenheim looked very good but also shows just how bad Schalke were on opening night. David Wagner fired yesterday following yet another defeat for them.

Can't believe he stayed in the job as long as he did. Think they have only won one game all year.

Neymar has been caught on video calling a Japanese player from Marseille 'Chinese sh*t'

Happened in the game with all the sendings off. That was a couple of weeks back but some pundit watched it back and spotted it.
while you have to lip read it you can apparently see fairly clearly what he is saying.

Never heard that insult before. Apparently it's quite a thing.

Neymar does seem like quite a detestable character.

Also the 3-0 was being disputed by Napoli earlier today. Naples local authority rules are that the players have to self isolate as 2 came down with the coroners

Yep. 2 players were ill with the Covid and they need 10 to call it off.

But they have new laws in naples saying they are not allowed to travel anywhere.

LOL

Juve refused to accept the game was called off so all the players arrived at the ground on the coach and Juve announced the starting line up. They took the charade right up to near kick off.

My favourite bit was the Agnelli family statement about it which included 'Juventus always follows the rules'

Absolute top draw trolling of italian football that

Yeah, this is a bit shit for Napoli. As an example as to why these rules are in place, Genoa, who played Napoli last week, left out two players from their squad for that game who had tested positive. The rest travelled, and played - and subsequently fifteen of those who made the trip have tested positive too.

Lewandowski continuing where he left off last season, with all four Bayern goals in their win. Haaland too - like Lewandowski he has five in five so far (plus three in two for Norway). Since he left Molde, Haaland has 50 goals in 50 games in all competitions.

Hard to believe Bellingham only turned 17 three months ago - he has started all three Dortmund league games so far. Hope he can maintain his start - interested if Dortmund will prefer the experience of Brandt in the CL.

Noticed Atalanta are still free-scoring - 13 in three league games so far, they are a hugely dangerous opponent for Liverpool in the CL. Solid start for Milan too, although their credentials will be tested properly against Inter in a couple of weeks.

Was listening to a German football journalist last week who was saying how much he has surprised the coaches there. He said that Dortmund had agreed a 12 month plan with Bellingham when he signed which had him training with the 1st team, playing for the under 23's and making his first team debut in the 2nd half of the season. But he was so good in pre season and in training that he forced their hand and the plan has gone out the window already as he is looking comfortable in the first team
