Never liked PSG. The ultimate manufactured rich man's plaything football club. Ajax were winning the European Cup the season PSG were created.

Sounding more and more like PSG want to get shot of Neymar this summer but obviously want to recoup as much of the money they have spent on him as they can. He is reportedly on around £650k a week too.

nice lucrative problem to have for Neymar I guess, but it was all so predictable. Feels like a right waste of a career.

Can't see anyone wanting to spend that much money on him. China maybe? But then you're right, it is a total waste of a career.

Been rumours about Real Madrid really wanting him over the past year or so since it became clear he wanta out of PSG. RM are certainly on for a big summer (around €300M already spend I think) but signing Neymar would be silly money.

Yeah, can't see that happening, especially as they have just signed Hazard as well.

It isn't just the money, it is all the hassle that comes with Neymar as well.

Are Real in danger of breaching FFP at all? Or are they covered by their huge commercial income?

Saw a table on a website the other day comparing the top European clubs net spend and RM's was surprising low over the past 5 years compared to the others. They have also brought in €90M so far in player sales and still have Bale, James Rodriguez & Kovacic expected to leave this summer which could be another €150M+

they could absolutely go to town this summer

Winston Biscuit

Only thing I would say on this is that they haven't exactly offered peanuts for him. Up to £50m, including add-ons.

I think he will probably end up going there.

Brief rumours that Benfica's wonderkid Joao Felix was on his way to Atletico Madrid, but that's now denied by his representatives. Apparently more than one European club willing to meet his release clause of €120m.

Rodri to Man City, apparently, after they agreed to pay his €63m release clause. Atletico Madrid released him in 2013, then 16 years old, as they felt he wasn't strong enough for the professional game. He went on to join Villereal, it quickly became evident that he was, Atletico re-signed him for €20m last summer, and they've made a €40m profit in a year.

Forest Green sign former Reading superstar, legend and all round great chap Matt Mills. What a coup that is! He is one of the, if not THE, best centre backs to have ever pulled on a reading shirt.

Player-coach, apparently.

Had all the physical attributes, and ball-playing ability, to be a Tony Adams-like player. He wasn't though.

I have no issue with him wrt birdgate, in fact I'd suggest most people in the East Stand thorughly deserved it, however he wasn't that good and is probably fining a level at non-league FGR
