The way I see it is, Leicester know he's not really worth that much. But they have money and don't need to sell him, the player is happy and isn't angling for a move. So they set the price at an extortionate level because they know they can and if someone comes along and actually pays it, happy days.

Same deal for Zaha with Palace demanding £100m+. It's more of a "fcuk off" than a valuation.

Less of a "fcuk off" and more of a "well, if you're that stupid or desparate......" and there will be clubs who will pay it, I thinking of the sort of club that's been doing a bit shit for a number of years and is desperate to buy its way back into contention.
