The FA Cup – 1st Rd Proper
1 Mansfield Town P-P Concord Rangers - following inspection at 13:30
9 Eastleigh 2-1 Lincoln City
10 Basingstoke Town 1-1 AFC Telford United – conditions were pretty grim – Bucks led form about 20’ but Flood (very appropriate!) levelled 2nd half – (according to Beeb) both sides missed easy opportunities late on to settle it – ‘stoke now trek to Telford a week on Tuesday (18th)
12 Weston Super Mare P-P Doncaster Rovers - called off at 14:40
15 Bromley 3-4 Dartford
17 Barnet 1-3 Wycombe Wanderers
24 Southend United 1-2 Chester

St Albans City 2-3 Whitehawk
Sutton United 1-1 Eastbourne Borough

SOUTHERN Premier
Cambridge City 2-1 Hungerford Town
Corby Town 1-1 Chesham United
Poole Town P-P Burnham
Slough Town 4-2 Paulton Rovers – Rebels recover from 0-2 on the hour mark – hat-trick for Scott Harris; 1 more for Ed Smith deep in injury time..
One Central
Bedworth United 1-0 AFC Hayes
Egham Town 3-0 Daventry Town
Hanwell Town 2-1 Bedford Town
Kettering Town 2-1 Godalming Town
Marlow 2-1 Potters Bar Town - Ashton with the winner on 94'
Northwood 3-0 Beaconsfield SYCOB
Rugby Town 1-3 Aylesbury
St Ives Town 3-1 Aylesbury United
Uxbridge 3-4 Chalfont St Peter
One South & West
Fleet Town 0-1 Stratford Town – the account on the Fleet website suggests an understrength home side pushed the runaway leaders all the way
North Leigh 6-1 Clevedon Town
Wantage Town 0-3 Merthyr Town

Combined Counties Premier
Badshot Lea 1-0 Molesey
Bedfont Sports 0-2 Epsom & Ewell
Camberley Town 1-0 Hanworth Villa - Villa may well be in a false position at the foot of the table but they keep losing and are in danger of being cut adrift - particularly with a few clubs just above them picking up wins yesterday.

Colliers Wood United 1-2 Guildford City - might suggest City are turning their season around – 2nd away win in succession following three narrow defeats.

Farnham Town 6-3 Windsor  - though maybe not; Windsor could just be too 'silky' for the horrendous conditions – took a 1-0 lead very early but from then on Farnham just steam-rollered them – Babbs Mead can get a bit ‘boggy’ at the best of times. Strangely the result/fixture isn’t appearing on the WFC website this AM? :? Probably best forgotten......

Frimley Green 1-3 Cove - Cove bulldoze on at the top – although reportedly a very hard-fought win.
Hartley Wintney 0-0 Ashford Town (Middx)
Knaphill 2-1 Mole Valley SCR
Raynes Park Vale 2-4 Westfield
Spelthorne Sports 4-2 Chertsey Town
CCL1
Banstead Athletic 5-1 Alton Town
Bedfont & Feltham 0-9 {NINE} AFC Croydon Athletic
Chessington & Hook United PP Dorking
Cobham 3-1 Ash United
Eversley & California A-A Farleigh Rovers - on 30' : downpour

Sheerwater 2-1 Sandhurst Town - that's 11 (big) losses in a row now for the 'Fizzers' and they've had one of their two early season wins chalked off for irregularities. Shame - nice club/nice location. Don't seem to be able to get anything right on or off the field - though there is a cryptic 'watch this space' kind of post on the F'Focus forum this AM - hopefully a portent for the better - things can't get much worse - can they?

Staines Lammas 4-1 Epsom Athletic
Worcester Park 4-0 CB Hounslow United

HELLENIC Premier
Abingdon United 1-4 Binfield - looks like my fears for the 'Moles' were unfounded - they also look to be better 'on the road' with 6 wins from the last 7 away league games - good win with a somewhat makeshift back four too - though Whitty and Galloway have been regulars in the CB positions of late. Two goals for Ian Davies - presumably working better up front with the more mobile JJ than he has been performing more recently with Dickens.

Ascot United 2-1 Ardley United - sounded like a good tussle in the wet - Yellamen winning with a late Saunders pen.

Brimscombe & Thrupp PP Bracknell Town
Cheltenham Saracens PP Flackwell Heath

Highmoor Ibis 6-1 Milton United - back to form and back on top with a bang after (three?) successive defeats

Kidlington 1-3 Reading Town - bit of an upset sees Kiddy's spell at the top end promptly - RTFC do appear to perform better away from Scours

Newbury P-P Holyport
Shrivenham 0-2 Thame United
HELL1W
Tytherington Rocks 1-0 Letcombe
HELL1E
Brackley Town 'Dev' 1-0 Chinnor
Burnham Res A-A Henley Town -Abandoned on 45' score 2-3
Didcot Town Res P-P Chalfont Wasps - be mildly surprised if this was due to weather up at The Loop - more likely Wasps having trouble raising a side again as they did last week - will have a sniff about.
Easington Sports 1-3 Wokingham & Emmbrook
Finchampstead 1-0 Old Woodstock Town
Penn & Tylers Green 1-3 Rayners Lane

Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup Round 3
Woodley Town 5-0 Cookham Dean - rest of the ties in this competition scheduled for next w/e (15th) - not sure why this one had to be played early - just checked - probably cos Scours being used by RTFC

WESSEX Premier
Fareham Town 0-2 Andover Town
Whitchurch United 5-3 Christchurch
Winchester City {SEVEN} 7-1 Brockenhurst - quick revenge for a poor display down in the Forest a couple of weeks back; where City got 'Badgered' 3-0, having been on a great run.
WESS1
Cowes Sports A-A Tadley Calleva
Fleet Spurs 1-7 {SEVEN} United Services Portsmouth - :( bit of an upset with Spurs collapsing to only their 2nd League defeat this season and slip a place back to 5th

Four Of Clubs HELL1E
Burnham Res A-A Henley Town -Abandoned on 45' score 2-3

What a game it was for those 45 minutes!!

After beating top-of-the-league with a last minute winner in their previous fixture, Henley came to Burham in buoyant mood. However, in monsoon conditions The Red Kites went 2-0 down after just 10 minutes, only to fight back dominating the rest of the half to go in 2-3. It was rightly called off however as by HT the ball no longer rolled across the surface, and dangerous 50:50 tackles were flying in!

Looking forward to the rematch in what is a lovely new ground - rare at this level:

Next up Henley face Wootton Bassett Town in the 2nd Round of the Bluefin Sport Challenge Cup on the 22nd November, 3pm KO at the Triangle Ground, Mill Lane, Henley.

Anyone know for sure when the next round of the FA Trophy will be made :?:

Presumably next Monday lunchtime :?:

Hoping for a Maidenhead home tie, else we will not have played once at York Road in November. Ideally against some p1ss easy team like Slough Town

I guess that the best way I can describe Windsor's win against Colliers Wood was that it was akin to The Great Escape. I really do like the way CWU approach games against us. They have bags of pace and movement going forward and pretty solid at the other end of the pitch. We huffed and puffed a lot but didn't really get going until we went 1-0 down. All of a sudden, we increased the urgency and started to move the ball with a lot more purpose. we sneaked an equaliser on something like the 88th minute and the relief behind the goal was clearly visible. Into stoppage time and the referee was in the perfect position to see a push on one of our forwards. There were no complaints at all from any of the visitors and that is as good a benchmark as any to say that the referee got it right. Pen duly dispatched and relief all round. CWU should be gutted that they didn't get something out of the game that their play deserved. The positive is that after two horror displays against Highfield Town and Farnham Town we showed great spirit in getting the three points.

Elmer Park Anyone know why Reading Town's match was postponed ?

... waterlogged pitch (though you wouldn't know looking on RTFC's website :| ) - my youngests' game did go ahead at Kings Meadow yesterday - but was pretty soggy; his Rugby match, nearer home in the morning, had to be played 'across' the pitch (11-a-side - no kicks at goal - so they didn't need posts) - did mean the 'dead ball' area was much foreshortened - which actually 'bailed them out' as a visiting player over ran the try-area and had his score chalked off.

________________________________________________________________
... anywhere's ..... here's yesterday's results from games that were played - a few games Abandoned due to fog further north/east of the area -

FA Trophy 2nd Round
14 Banbury United 3-2 Marine
15 Hereford United 2-0 Mangotsfield United
16 Witham Town 0-1 Truro City
17 Dereham Town 1-1 Sholing
18 Weymouth 0-0 Burnham - replay Tue night at The Gore
19 Maidstone United 0-2 AFC Sudbury
20 Metropolitan Police 2-0 Dulwich Hamlet
21 Barkingside 1-3 Horsham
22 Peacehaven & Telscombe 4-3 Thamesmead Town
23 Lewes pp Heybridge Swifts
24 Leiston 3-2 Paulton Rovers
25 Burgess Hill Town 0-0 Folkestone Invicta
26 Slough Town 1-1 Merthyr Town
27 Biggleswade Town 1-2 Poole Town
28 Uxbridge 1-2 Didcot Town
- ended up here with youngest - once he dried off from Rugby and Football - quick nip up the M4 to jn 4 - mercifully free-flowing. hadn't been to Honeycroft for over 18 years - didn't look that different - though fully enclosed now off of Horton Lane - well signed too. Good Tea Bar though the Burgers were of 'indeterminate age' :? Diddy completely outclassed their hosts - currently below mid-way in Div One Central. Pitch passed inspection at 11:00h but was a mite sticky - rain eased following another big-downpour just before we arrived about 14:40. Pablo Haysham and Sam Elkins (ex RFC lad) ran the show; latter scoring direct from a corner. John Mills had put them one up with a penalty. Uxbridge huffed and spluttered but rarely troubled Foster in goal - eventually scrambled one in on the near post in the last couple of minutes. The Railwaymen calmly kept the ball away from their goal for the final moments. Mist did roll up out of the Canal that runs alongside the ground and might have caused concern had it been later in the afternoon/evening - just about still see the opposite side. Cue home fans cries of 'Where Are You?; Where Are You?'
29 Bedford Town 2-1 Chippenham Town
30 Whyteleafe 1-4 Leatherhead
31 AFC Hornchurch 4-2 Merstham
32 Histon 0-2 Cray Wanderers
33 East Thurrock United 4-4 Arlesey Town
34 Hendon 4-0 Worthing
35 Tonbridge Angels 2-0 Grays Athletic
36 Wimborne Town 2-1 Northwood

CONFP
Aldershot Town 1-0 Nuneaton Town
CONFN
Oxford City 2-1 Brackley Town
CONFS
Basingstoke Town 0-1 St Albans City - looks as if Dragons have 'hit the buffers' of late - have dropped back to 4th :(
Bath City 4-0 Maidenhead United :(
Bishops Stortford 1-1 Eastbourne Borough
Concord Rangers 1-1 Boreham Wood
Ebbsfleet United 3-0 Farnborough
Gosport Borough 2-1 Staines Town
Havant & Waterlooville 1-0 Weston-Super-Mare
Hayes & Yeading Utd 1-2 Bromley
Sutton United 1-2 Hemel Hempstead Town
Whitehawk 5-1 Chelmsford City

SOUTH1C
AFC Hayes 0-1 Marlow - important 'Blues' didn't slip up here against bottom placed 'Brook' - now up to 9th.
Chalfont St Peter 4-1 Egham Town
Hanwell Town 1-2 St Ives Town
SOUTH1S&W
Bridgwater Town 1-1 North Leigh
Larkhall Athletic 1-1 Wantage Town - valuable point and morale boosting performance too against one of the chasing pack at the top.

CCLP
Ashford Town (Middx) 3-2 Badshot Lea
Bedfont Sports 3-1 Frimley Green
Chertsey Town 2-1 Raynes Park Vale - welcome points for struggling 'Curfews'
Cove 1-0 Epsom & Ewell - leaders 'grind on': watched them share four goals with mid-table RPV on Tuesday in atrocious conditions - fell 2-0 behind but showed why they are top - forcing a draw late on following relentless pressure.

Guildford City 2-3 Hartley Wintney
Hanworth Villa PP Horley Town
Mole Valley SCR Ab Farnham Town - Fog ! Farnham 3-1 up
Molesey 1-0 Knaphill
Westfield 0-2 Spelthorne Sports
Windsor 2-1 Colliers Wood United
CCL1
AFC Croydon Athletic 1-0 Banstead Athletic - first match back at Mayfield Stadium home of previous version of Croydon Athletic whose final match was played on Dec 4th 2011 - interesting to see what the crowd was today.

Alton Town 1-4 Staines Lammas
Ash United 0-1 Farleigh Rovers
CB Hounslow United 2-1 Sandhurst Town
Dorking PP Eversley & California
Sheerwater PP Bedfont & Feltham
Worcester Park 6-0 Epsom Athletic

HELLP
Ascot United 0-2 Shrivenham - real big surprise here with 'Yellamen' slipping to defeat against 2nd bottom Shrivvy
Binfield 3-3 Highmoor Ibis att 159 - 2 goals for I.Davies - H/I twice fought back from 2 down - match described on the 'Moles' site as 'incident packed' - expect this could be a euphemism for H/I returning to their 'snarly' best! 8) Much as was alluded to when I was reporting on them last week; H/I had a lot of defenders out/unavailable - as did Binfield - who fielded a real makeshift back four. Visitors' Jerome Coultress received a straight Red in the first minute - 'off the ball' incident with Ian Davies. - Anthony White eventually made it 3-3 with 3 minutes left and in the time remaining Jerome Brown got a 2nd yellow to leave H/I hanging on with 9 men. 'Moles' patched up outfit travel to Shrivvy on Wed eve no doubt buoyed by their startling win at Ascot!

Bracknell Town 5-2 Cheltenham Saracens
Holyport 1-0 Wootton Bassett Town - 'port now won 6 from 8 and come to Palmer Park on Monday evening.
Milton United 2-1 Thatcham Town - 'Kingfishers' really on the plummet - only 2 points from the last 27
Newbury 3-3 Abingdon United
06 HELL1E
Brackley Town 'Dev' 4-1 Woodley Town
Rayners Lane 0-2 Burnham Res

06 HELL1W
Letcombe 1-2 Longlevens AFC
B&B Intermediate R3
FC Beaconsfield 2-1 Winslow United - minor shock perhaps as Winslow (N of Aylesbury) are bottom of STEP06 S.Mids Div One - FC Beaconsfield are from the 2nd tier of the E.Baaaarks so nominally STEP09.

Loughton Manor 2-3 Iver Heath Rovers
Penn & Tylers Green 2-1 Wraysbury Village
Buckingham Town 3-2 Langley
New Bradwell St Peter 4-2 Grendon Rangers
Marlow United PP Pitstone & Ivinghoe United
Oakley United 2-0 Chesham United FC (Reserves)
Hambleden 1-5 Olney Town
Finchampstead 1-4 Reading YMCA
Wokingham & Emmbrook 1-0 Unity - 'Sumas' go to Freds Reserves in the new Yr (last 16 - scheduled for 3rd Jan)
Highmoor/Ibis (Reserves) PP Mortimer - waterlogged (IBIS club is adjacent to Scours Lane - reserves don't use Palmer Park even though firsts were battling it out at at Binfield)

Wantage Town FC (Reserves) 3-2 Ardington & Lockinge
Abingdon United FC (Reserves) 6-1 Sandhurst Devels
Long Wittenham Athletic 2-1 Wallingford Town AFC
Saxton Rovers 1-2 Didcot Town FC (Reserves)

Oxon Sen R2 - no surprises here as Hellenic-based clubs progress to the third round of 4 ties - winners of these move into the 1/4 finals when the 'big four' join in [OUFC OCFC Banbury & Nor Lye]. There will be at least one STEP06 (Div One) club in the quarters though with Head.Ams being drawn out vs Old Woodstock; Chinnor go to Nomads Ardley (holders) host Kiddy - Thame go to Easington.
008 Ardley United 6-0 Carterton
009 Chalgrove Cavaliers 1-6 Chinnor
010 Easington Sports 3-1 Clanfield
011 Eynsham Assoc' 0-6 Kidlington
012 Headington Amateurs 2-1 Marston Saints
013 Old Woodstock Town 4-1 OUP
014 Thame United 1-1 North Leigh Res H W 6-5 pens
015 Woodcote & Stoke Row 1-3 Oxford City Nomads

Wycombe R1
001 Cookham Dean 2-0 Chalfont Wasps

05 WESSP
Alresford Town 0-2 Moneyfields
Verwood Town 1-5 Winchester City
Whitchurch United 0-3 Brockenhurst - 'Jam Boys' first home reverse of the season - stay top - though 2nd & 3rd both won and have a game in hand.
06 WESS1
Cowes Sports 3-2 Tadley Calleva - Tadley's first league defeat of the season away at still unbeaten Cowes – though the home side have only played 7 league matches to date.

Fleet Spurs 4-2 Andover New Street - Spurs back top following expected win over basement club
Pewsey Vale 4-0 United Services Portsmouth

I was also at Uxbridge and concur with your report Fold All Clubs, Diddy were excellent for an hour and seemingly either got bored or found it too easy because they slacked off for the last 20-25 minutes and nearly paid for it, thankfully a strong official stuck by his linesman and disallowed a late goal. Would have been a travesty had Diddy not won it, if it wasn't for the Uxbridge keeper it would have been about 6-1.

Diddy game is off tomorrow for about 3 reasons but I think the official one is a problem with the floodlights, it's not the real reason but that doesn't matter!

Home again Saturday against Cinderford and hoping for a decent FA Trophy draw, some pub side like Maidenhead at home will do.

MUFC home to Met Police. Happy just to get the home draw although one can't help but think Football Intelligence has rigged this just to honeytrap the MMS :?

yeah that's a horrible draw for Didcot in all honesty, certain defeat at Methyr providing they win their replay which you would expect.

Alan Partridge yeah that's a horrible draw for Didcot in all honesty, certain defeat at Methyr providing they win their replay which you would expect.

... might pop along to a Trophy replay @ The Gore tomorrow (Burnham v Terras) - winners host Cray Wdrs in next round.

Would quite like the idea of Sluff v Diddy too - but I expect the Martyrs might be favourites to overcome the Rebels on their own (artificial) patch at Pennydarren Pk tomorrow night?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...fair amount of MW action too - if you can haul yourselves away from the thrills of 'The Sweaties vs Woys Wonders'
... as well as Burnham above - games on at Thatcham, Ascot, Newbury, Abingdon Utd and Hungerford (vs Magpies in the B&B Cup 1/4's)
Windsor also in action tomorrow night - at the CCLP's 'Moles' who have not been as prolific of late. - Indeed was Molesey's first game w/o scoring in a 0-1 reverse at Baddy Lea last week and only managed to scrape a 1-0 win vs strugglers Knaphill on Saturday.
Wednesday night action aplenty : with Binfield going to surprise winners at Ascot - Shrivenham .... and RTFC visiting WBT @ the Corinium Stadium Cirencester.
Merthyr Town 3-2 Slough Town - they're a good team, spending decent money for the league they're in, on a 4G pitch. Good luck.
