Snowflake Royal Have NGW, Hector and Waghorn all got snapped up, because they were all only just mentioned as being at a PFA training camp for players without a club.

Can anyone with time/knowledge add ages and positions to the list? Useful to know your full backs from your CBs and your RBs from your LBs etc

Brandon Williams, Left back age 24 most recently on loan at Ipswich from Man U now unattached.

Hope he does better than the last B Williams on the club's books if Reading does sign him.

There was one version of football manager where he played for my Reading team in the Europa League. Presumably he didn't reach his potential in real life. Played a reason for Ipswich last year though; 15 appearances. May have his sights higher than L1.

I believe the term in Madejski years was WCBAP. But we kind of blew our wage structure under AZ and Dai. Now the term became WAAFBP (wages are a oxf*rd big problem)

I think he'd probably be good for a lot of Championship sides without further development, so I think he'd be almost too good for League One.

Two concerns I'd have about him playing left-back is be appears to be right footed (but as long as he's comfortable playing there it may not matter too much) and his wage demands (he was supposedly on £40k-65k p/w at Man Utd).

I think Rangers have been linked with him, but they were saying his wage demands were too high. If Rangers are in for him, there's little to no chance a League One club will sign him (unless it's Birmingham).

Yeah, if he sees £6k in L1 he'll be doing fairly well.

By no means saying we should go for him but at 24 you would think someone would be telling him that you just need to be playing and look at a short term deal somewhere where he could well be first choice even at a level or two lower that your potential. That way people can see you actually playing rather than being that bloke who used to play for Man Utd but hasn't played a competitive game since January.

I obviously don't know what sort of wages he's asking for to know how reasonable he's being, but you're right to say he should be looking at play time more than wages at this stage of his career.

I think he'd likely get game time at a lot of Championship clubs, and would be the starting LB at Rangers, if he was willing to lower his demands.
