The club WANT to sell Kebe

by Geekins » 27 Sep 2010 12:51

Every article they bring out is about how Kebe is the best player outside the Premiership.... even the one where we are welcoming back Siggy.... I wish the club would just shut up about it. We know he's great but alerting all the other clubs via our media (which they know works as they always tell us).

He'll be gone in January.

Yes because clubs base their decisions to buy on the impartial views of an official site.

Kebe is a confidence player, giving him good press and accolades will ensure his confidence is high

On this basis surely all those slagging him off not long ago should have been bigging him up in the hope that someone would buy him :P

I think Kebe's goals/assists are already alerting clubs to just how good he is. The games are watched by scouts, televised etc so the official club site is hardly letting the cat out of the bag.

Jimmy has been ROASTING most full-backs.

If one of our FBs gets roasted that way we criticize the FB. WHY?

if Jimmy leaves for a higher league and all those FBs stop getting a roasting
will they be "better players"?

Kebe is not good enough for the Premiership.

Don't worry.

If we go up he'll be a fringe player for us.

Even I with my vocal Madesjki-scepticism won't believe that.

I don't even believe he *Wanted* to sell Siggy, but rather was quietly pleased that it happened and didn't want to re-invest it all.

I very much doubt he would actively want to sell Kebe. Siggy was kind of understandable given it was such a big figure. I doubt Kebe would command that sort of sum.

The board might be tight-arses but they're not blatantly mad.

id say aprt from the potential that comes from being young, kebe is just as good as sig.and should therefore be worth at least 4M and if he keeps up his great form for this whole season, i see no reason why we shouldnt be asking for 7 million by th eend of it

From what I've seen (admittedly not masses) Kebe has the potential to win a game almost single handed, keep two or three opposition tied up. I don't remember The Sig being able to as much.. True, he could change things with a free-kick or massive strike, but not in the same way that the Kebmeister CAN.

Tony Pulis was at the game and left as soon as Jimmy was substituted. Nuff said!

he probably saw that Kebe wasn't good in the air, couldn't take a long throw or kick the arse out of people. He'd seen enough.
