genome Danny Graham has 15 goals in 89 appearances over the last 3 seasons, and half of those were in the 6 months to Christmas in 2012/13.

No fanx.

Scores for Sunderland ..... (make that 16 in 90 appearances)!

Sign me up. I'm 17 and scored 28 in 31 this season  Quite pacey, decent finisher (hence the goals) - sounds like the type of ST we need 8)

Jay Emmanuel Thomas is on a free from Bristol city scored 14 this season and only 24, could bring that pace to the attack we need

the thought of JET and HRK in the same squad is truly terrifying

Not as scary as a central defensive partnership of Zat Knight and Titus Bramble.

16 goals from 110 Championship appearances. Only one goal every 3.5 matches in League One. No reason to assume he'd be any better than Samuel or Cox, let alone Pog; based on his career to date, you'd expect him to score about 7 goals in a Championship season if he started every match. He might have improved since then, but frankly we need a striker who's going to score at least 15 league goals and there's not much chance that JET is the one.

Jet was very good in Gladiators though, you can't take that away from her.

Faurlin and Henry are free this summer and the contracts for Dunne, Hill, Barton and Zamora are also up. Zamora, Dunne and Hill are pensioners though so would probably be released anyway (that'll be three players that will be linked with us then).

Wonder if they'll offer Barton a new deal on increased money

I'd snap him up if it's on a free. Gives us a completely different player to what we've currently got at the club. Always going to need a plan B or C!

An experienced goal scorer like Roberts / Yak upfront with younger / fast / hungry Academy players feeding off him is what is needed in the Championship. Reading have enough mid-career players who did not deliver last season, aka HRK.
