England U21 international (5 Apps). Originally played for Wales at U18 and U19. He's 22 and 6 foot 4. Made 22 apps for Watford plus games on loan for Brackley, Forest Green, Dagenham & Redbridge and Bury.

My assumption here is that he is going to be our number 2 with another older experienced keeper coming in as number 1 for the short term (2 seasons or so).

How much did he cost?

What about Ali Al-Habsi? I assume he's training with us and probably going to sign?

Now I've seen a picture of Bond, I reckon it was likely him I saw meeting with Hammond in the hotel Friday lunchtime.

I can't see him leaving Watford to join us as second choice....

Any keeper out there who wants to play at Championship level will know that we have no first choice keeper currently so we will be very attractive from that angle. I would expect us to bring in two potential first choices and give them both a chance to prove their worth before the 8th August.

Looks like Bond is one and Al-Habsi could be the other. Good competition if so.

Well.....the Watford fans don't seem particularly happy if he is leaving at least.

Very pleased with this :D

Only good reviews. For us to tempt him away I can only think a 2/3 yr deal has been agreed.

Definitely good enough for first choice keeper. Great signing. We are at last turning into a proper team with exciting players/decent reputations.

We've been decent before but without the expectation of being so good (both promotion seasons to the prem for example) but not since we were snaffling the likes of Cureton/Sidwell/Salako have I been so enthusiastic about various signings.

Ditto, can't remember the last time I've actually felt excited by a signing, let alone several. It's great to see the team shaping into something that causes me to think we've got a really decent chance of a good season.
