Hound well according to JLow neither Mendes or Liziero will join due to financial constraints. Interesting but obvs the old FFP rearing its head again

Or they have asked for crazy money and wont accept an offer spread over a few years.

Reading apparently still hoping to get a striker in. But as it’s probably going to be a last day late thing if it does happen.

Not joining us, but Brentford once again bossing the transfer market. Fosu was always going to be good, will we have any clause for him? Baptiste will be brilliant too

He'd certainly fit in with our current collections of strikers who don't score very often alongside Baldock, Puscas, Boye and Loader.

I think he is far better as a lone frontman than the 3 names you mentioned though. Certainly holds the ball up well.

Agree - shouldn’t have let Fosu get away. Another victim of previous poor management!

Big old meh from me. Lots of talent, not a lot of application. No way he was doing much with us.

Sources are telling me he wants to stay down south. We are in pole position, player keen.

We certainly won't have a clause for him but Charlton, who sold him to O*ford, might!

Add to that 2 years of uninspiring loan spells in League 2 and about 5 players ahead of him and you can begin to see why the club let him go.

Again, people claiming football manager isn't realistic. Who hasn't looked at Conor Wickham as a desperate last minute signing on FM when managing a club like Reading? Yet he is never first choice. Basically real life.

Not fussed, wont get ahead of Yiadom and Gunter for a while so not much point of keeping him

Think he’s the sort of player that will end up around lower league 1/league 2 his entire career

Baldock actually has a ratio of one goal every 180 minutes currently

His problem is staying injury free. Because if he didn’t, I think he’d get you around 12 goals every season. Never much more than that though IMO

I don't know why but I have always assumed Wickham would sign for us at some point. Now is as good a time as any if he does sign today.

Yeah I don't see how anyone can have an issue with Wickham coming in, decent at holding the ball up, good in the air and he has something to prove. He will be coming here with a view to getting a move in the summer so he will hopefully have the right attitude.

In competition with Sheff Wed, Cardiff and Forest apparently

Given Conor was with Reading as a youngster (until he was about 14 I think) perhaps there is a little bit of a connection with him that might give Reading a slight edge?
