Wycombe Royal Really?

There is a good player in there, he is only 25 and has premiership experience, he is worth more of a punt than junior hoillet

There is but I believe he is struggling with his mental health at the moment, so may be taking time away from the game.

Looks like we had a triallist play today, seems to be Kyle Edwards. 23 and left WBA this summer.

I would take Kyle Edwards definitely

Celtic reportedly in for Kyle Edwards too.

One of the Turkish teams (Rizespor) chasing Yannick Bolasie have pulled out of negotiations.

morganb Didn't realise that Hoilett plays as a winger for the Canada national team - have Reading had many Canadian players in the past?

Agreed. Decent player, pretty young and on a free in a position we need to strengthen

Bob Lenarduzzi was a Canadian international while with Reading, he played 6 seasons between 1970 and 76. I believe he also played for Vancouver Whitecaps in the summer while with Reading. In that era it wasn’t unusual for players to play in the US and Canada during the close season.

He currently still works for Vancouver Whitecaps.

Pepe the Horseman
Snowball Bolassie only started 12 games (12(3) but was MotM twice and his
3 goals, 3 assists were in just 935 minutes, one every 156 minutes

Not bad!

Makes you wonder why he only started 12 games then.

Probably injury prone then, so will fit right in.

He only joined them on loan towards the end of January transfer window and played in 15 of a possible 22 league games

According to The Chronic, we've made Bolasie an offer.

If it's a sensible deal, happy if he accepts.

Be more than happy - would be ecstatic with this - quality player, and hopefully we can unlock that real talent. Someone to excite the fans and exactly what we have been missing. Be a real coup. Not overly fussed with Hoilett, he seems to be going on a downward curve in terms of performance.

What has Bolasie done since his big injury a couple of seasons ago? From memory the answer is nothing.

Re-discovered his form at Middlesbrough - linked to their upturn, fans loved him.

Free agent, sought after player, quality a few years back, yes please.

I would question how much of am impact he had at Middlesbrough when the bloke is available on a free and they choose not to make him an offer.

He is too old, too injury prone and too expensive. Would take a young player on loan for a season every day of the week over Bolasie.

Would rather Kadeem Harris, but beggars can't be choosers.

Better yet tie down Laurent and Rinomhota... Swift also!

Do we think the club will trial all players before signing them this summer or will they have already seen enough of Bolasie, due to his Middlesbrough spell, to know if he is worth signing or not? I guess the two currently on trial (Edwards, Lazaar) have only had limited game time recently.

32 is not old. They chose not to make him an offer as it disruptys their wage bill. To turn down a player of his quality if available as a fan you must be utterly dillusional.

Just a snap shot of many comments about Bolasie across forums, struggled to find one negative one.

The Athletic understands that Bolasie is set to hold further talks with Middlesbrough after the 32-year-old enjoyed a productive loan spell with the club in the second half of the season.

Be epic ifBolaise signs

I really hope we can sort out something withBolaise for next season.I know he had a few too many shots from distance today but he is so positive, drives forward at every opportunity and has a goal in him.Give him a proper pre season and he could be massive for us.

I hope we manage to keepBolaise, Kebano and Mendez-Laing as add in Browne returning, Johnson watmore we'd be sorted on wings. Just need some strikers and I think better midfielders who can pass control dictate. Alongside this a CB cover, LB cover and a new keeper

Watford were kinda bad was boring game to witness but atleastBolaise showed abit of pride got us the goal hopefully he stays for next season

Bolasie, we are waiting.

Not delusional, just don't want injury prone old boys on high wages at the club.
