Pisa has been owned for a year now by Alexander Knaster, a British billionaire. Perhaps he’s able to fund the wages personally. No idea of FFP style regulations in Italy. (Also, no idea how Knaster is British? Born in Moscow, lives in NY)

Hound Good luck to him and presumably a big saving on wages. Always put the effort in, just not really up to it, and wasn’t helped by tactics at times

Definitely concerned it leaves us so short up too though

Means Clarke will have to step up, not against it tbh. In all liklihood we are going to need Jahmari Clarke a lot next season so let's give him some valuable experience now.

In a relegation battle? I dont really fancy league one football tbh.

Open to giving him a few minutes off the bench but if we need to rely on him I think we will probably be screwed.

Simon's Church He's dogshit, we could replace him with with a 50 Yr old Carl asaba and the team would be better off.

From somebody that has named himself after a striker that scored 24 goals in 124 apps is quite frankly priceless.

That's a good comparison actually, they both scored once every 5 games and controlled the ball once every 5 touches

Churchy was overall a bit rubbish but contributed with some key goals in our promotion season. Also 100% committed.

Church may have been dogshit for 95% of his career but anyone who scores a winner at Elland Rd is a legend in my book.

Loved that red kit.

Actually the home kit was a belter that year as well.

Most of my mates are Leeds fans as I live in that area, that day was a joy. Thankfully, we had a decent record against Leeds when I used to see most of them. Present day we are pretty poor against them, but I don't see them so much these days so it's no biggy really.

He's a billionaire, you can buy a British passport if you have £2million to spare and live here for a while

Same in a lot of countries.

Portugal, for example, have a Golden Visa scheme whereby you can ‘earn’ permanent residency by buying property over a certain value. Stay for five years and hey presto, along comes that passport.

Yeah, didn't mean to imply it was solely a British thing. Malta requires only one year's resdiency if you "invest" enough.

Pisa have gone to shit since Puscas joined and started making the first XI.

Currently 2-0 down at home to a team in the relegation zone.
