Rumour- Troy Parrot

by Stranded » 15 Jun 2022 21:54

Just seen the first tweet linking us to a move for Parrot. QPR, Luton and Birmingham apparently also interested.

With Carey in, you would hope we may be at the front of the queue for the odd Spurs youngster.

Sounds like he did well at MK and would be a good signing

Half the champ after him though

This rumour is dead, it's kicked the bucket, it's pushing up daisies etc

It's a no from me; plays too repetitively.

I would like to think that clubs would look at our situation and know that Joao is off and most likely Puscas. Leaving us threadbare up top, meaning we can offer genuine first team football . If he goes somewhere like Norwich for instance he might be more of a squad player. Parrot is at the stage now where he needs another full season of first team football not sitting on someone’s bench. It might give us a advantage in some respects. And good point about Carey from stranded that might help too. Fingers crossed as I think he would be an excellent addition.

Perhaps we should send him a gift horse to break down the walls of his resistance to joining us.

Would be a decent enough signing overall I think.

I take the point about potentially pulling in a couple of decent youngsters from Spurs due to the links with Carey.

If we're getting Parrot perhaps we should also try for James Perch from Mansfield.

Not sure we need a striker at the moment but if Joao or Puscas leave it would be good to get a lad in

This could be his big break.

I hope we don't baulk on signing him.

I would imaging there are others cueing up to sign him.

If we got it done, you'd certainly chalk it up as a win.

i imagine your snooker puns might fly over people's heads
but we would be quackers not to sign him
Unless he has a really big bill
has he tweeted anything about the move? he seems quite prolific on Twitter, but most of it just seems parrot-fashion.
Does anyone know his political persuasion?, is he left or right-wing

He'll certainly have defenders flapping about.

He may well become a talonsmanic striker for us.

wonder if he likes to sit on the shoulder and get in behind defenders, or if he likes to perch himself outside of the box

So you're saying there's little chance the Canaries sign Parrott?
