Is Ferguson available or did he sign for longer than the remainder of the season at P'boro?

If they lose the P/O Final, he'd be absolutely perfect and might like the chance at a bigger club.

Peterboro won't lose the P.O Final. Guaranteed

Bring him in - as we always lose in the PO Final ... :-)

Apparently the delay in appointing the next manager is due to the fact that club are awaiting Leeds' relegation to be confirmed....

  Love that interaction.

That Gregg Wallace does strike me as a massive cockend tbh.

Would have helped if he'd had parents that could spell in the first place though.

Truly, bookies have no clue at the moment and having no clue gives us all the worry that "it couldn't be could it?"

For the record Mr Monk had a bright spell as manager at Leeds (he resigned from Leeds) and then followed a :| spell at Middlesbrough and utter tripe spells at Brum & Sheff Wed, and it's those two which really cloud his CV with supporters who I don't think were ever overly impressed with him anyway.

Didn't he get sacked from either Brum or Boro for some dodgy transfer dealings?

I know at Birmingham he fell out with the owners after they flogged Jota when he wanted to keep him. Can't recall anything dodgy but then at Brum everything is/was a bit strange.

Article about Dylan Kerr, could it be a coincidence?

Seems to have done well for himself in South Africa, but hasn't managed in Europe.... yet.

I think it’s going to be Luke Williams. Well I’ve had a bet.

Listened to him on the latest (Monday) 1871 podcast and seems that Marumo's relegation was tainted with players being more interested in getting bonuses paid than safeguarding their careers despite Mr Kerr explaining the bigger picture so not much you can do if player shave that sort of mindset.

Certainly I'd interview him for the post, he wouldn't be worse than some of the utterly garbage appointments the club have made in recent seasons. Funnily enough he said he knows Chris Wilder from his (Dylan's) time at Sheff Wed.

Yes, it's called a journalist looking for content because there's nothing going on at the end of season.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sport ... -Monk.html

Garry Monk and his agent have been sent legal letters by Middlesbrough
The pair are accused of deceiving the club to the tune of millions of pounds
Boro are investigating a host of transfers completed while Monk was manager
They fear Monk's dealings were not protecting the business interests of the club

Probably should have posted it here but Wilder has just jumped to 1/4 again on some platforms. Which, as we know, likely means absolutely nothing.

I thought he did quite well at Birmingham given the circumstances at the time.

If Kerr wasn't a former player remembered fondly, he'd be the sort of appointment that would have people spontaneously combusting in outrage, especially if Kia Joorabchian's name was associated.

I find it utterly baffling anyone would suggest him.
