Yes. I meant that the Daily Mail story was not Roberts or Rhodes. I'm still confident Roberts will be a Reading player by the end of the window

West Stand Flash I think you got confused between Jordan Rhodes and Jason Robets luv.

It's funny to see you and your old man crawl out from underneath your rocks as soon as something exciting happens at the club, it's usually to have a pop at Madejski or tell us all that we're going down. You two are probably this biggest pair of plastic cunt's I've seen on this board.

Do us all a favour and fuck off back to sucking your dad's helmet.

Haha, calm down babes. Plastic when had a ST for 17 years? Good one.

WSF and his dad are the biggest dicks on the forum. they only come out when times are bad, so this is a tad surprising to come out now.

A lot nearer 1 in 2.5 games (2.42) and just a mere 5 years ago.

I remember him scoring a cracker v Arsenal and thinking, wwooo he'd be good
but I like Alan Clarke too

Yes but some of those were probably sub appearances, and he'll have been taken off in some of them too.

You're always doing your figures based on minutes played Snowy, lets be consistent now.[/quote]

Just responding to your post and the dodgy maths. If you want minutes/goal U need to quote them! :-)

URZZ Steady now.

winchester_royal
Yep, for West Brom in the Championship he scored 22 goals in 59 games.

For Wigan in the Championship he scored 21 goals in 45 games.

43 goals in 104 games overall.

Almost 1 in 2, probably is when you count in minutes and all that.

Pretty impressive if you ask me at this level.

not so bad kiddo.

Of course it's not BAAAAD... but it's not SPECIAL and that was five years ago

http://www.cityam.com/latest-news/zingarevich-paper-millionaire-new-royal-blue

UNTIL the last few days, Anton Zingarevich had barely been heard of in Reading. The Russian is better-known on Merseyside, however, after he came close to taking a 40 per cent stake in Everton in 2004. The deal, through Fortress Sports Fund, never materialised, despite Toffees chairman Bill Kenwright hailing Zingarevich’s “encyclopaedic football knowledge”. Reading chairman Sir John Madejski been more restrained about Zingarevich, whose father, the Ilim Pulp magnate Boris, is an associate of Dmitry Medvedev, the one-term president widely seen as the puppet of prime minister Vladimir Putin.

Anton, I believe, is third from the left (in the blue shirt) in the photo below

Given the TSI statement that has just been read out on BBC Berks all the right things are being said. Ethos will remain unchanged, JM to be chairman for next 3 years, due diligence will be worked through to conclude at the end of March 2012 and a limited amount of money to be made available to Brian in this transfer window.

At this point in time, and given JM's assurances over the last few years that it's not just finding a buyer for the club thats important but making sure that buyer is correct for the club and won't just destroy everything, I think everyone should be optimistic about the future. At the very least the benfit of doubt should be given.

Word to the wise though, don't expect stashes of cash to be heaped at everything as there are supposedly new financial regulations about to be applied to clubs which effectively should cap what we - and our competitors - can spend anyway (unless Reading fans come out in their droves week after week and force the ground capacity to be extended).

So welcome to Anton and his crew and it would be great after diligence is complete for him to meet the fans (assuming he is to be the lead face of the new regime of course) and allay any fears.

I'm not sure, I think there was one small mention. I might have to check (yet) again.

I'd strongly suggest you check again too

So what exactly was the "big transfer news" that the papers were going to be reporting today?

And more to the point, why is TMD so bothered who we do or don't sign? :|
