Winston Smith AC Milan's new ground, opening in 2018.

dont like the look of the inside pictures. Always thought the height with which many Italian grounds back is impressive, this new ground seems to have lost that.

that #hashtag annoys me. Why is that needed?

What West Ham's new ground will look like when finished next year. I wouldn't fancy sitting in the bottom tier centre, behind the goal. Terrible views. If they come in on budget (£195m), West Ham cough up only 10% (£19.5m). Daylight robbery! Not keen on the ground at all.

54,000 capacity.
Bottom tiers retract for future Athletic events.

It's utterly disgusting how they've been given a ground for what amounts to next to nothing. How much tax payer's money went into the building of it in the first place?

It does have some pillars, ironic considering the one it replaced had England's first cantilever stand.

I have no idea what the justification for the move is. Possibly the deal is too good to turn down.

On 22 September 2014, Brady was elevated to the House of Lords as a Conservative life peer, taking the title Baroness Brady.
Do you think that may have been instrumental?

They needed to have someone using the Olympic Stadium. An empty , unused ground would have been no good to anyone.
West Ham should have had to surrender the Boleyn to the government in exchange for the new ground. Very unfair to get a brand new ground and benefit from the sale of your old one....

Forest Green Rovers to spend £100m sports facilty that includes a new 5000 capacity stadium that can double to 10000 in the future. That's some investment at their level!

For me there were the archetypal "smashing little club"

Is no club sacred these days?

Etihad expansion looks pretty impressive.

Looked like 3 tiers of Away section. Is there still a rule about not having away fans above or below home fans?

I reads earlier that city have the planning permission to do the same at the other end of thee ground which will take it >60k.

will they fill that??

Not according to Gary Neville. Yesterday he said "They'll fill it on days like today, but against the smaller clubs they won't".
