It's very easy to whinge when you're not playing.

Has he done enough in any of his appearances to demand a place in the team? Not for me.

He must also know that writing something like that on Twitter isn't exactly going to go unnoticed.

I'd play him over McCleary personally

x100000000. Cannot believe he can't make the squad, baffling to say the very least.

He usually looks ok when he comes on. Has been pretty anonymous in his few starts though.

Why do we keep dragging this up? Yeah he was stupid to tweet that but he quickly deleted it so either someone advised him to remove it or he felt some level of regret and deleted it himself. He's unhappy at not playing, that's understandable, he's still young so needs to learn when it's ok and not ok to make his feelings public.

On current form he should definitely be getting in the squad over McCleary, as last nights inept performance showed.

Did you go to the Preston game? Or Forest? John was the only one that showed anything. Don't get me wrong, he was still shit, but his vast superiority to the rest of his team mates was more due to how bad everyone was else was.

I like* how he sets off on his runs without bothering to bring the ball with him.

Just perhaps a spell of playing might help him get on the wavelength with the rest of the team

Oh and Brian will sort it.

This.

A word in his ear to buck his ideas up and prove he's good enough.

I certainly wouldn't pick him over McCleary and that's with his less than stellar showing last night.

Inept performance? What, assisting the first goal?

I went to Preston - no player's performance can be defended from that apart from possibly Bond although his distribution went to pieces.

Don't get me wrong, I do like John and I think we should accomodate him on the left, GMac right and Blackz up top. Vydra and Sa to follow Sssssssteve Clarke. Cheers.

He played a part but back heels of Vydra and Norwood, especially the latter (as the defender didn't expect it) was more influential in the build up to the goal.

I'm sorry but you're going to have a hard time arguing he was anything other than shit yesterday.
