0-0 Brentford park the bus. We can't break them down. Blackman gets subbed and throws his toys out of the prom. HRK plays another full 90 minutes.

BBC Sport Brentford have gone four away games without a victory, last beating Charlton away in October (D3 L1).

That will be 3 points for Brentford then.

No ex-Reading players of note

We should be ok for a win.

Saw them play Brighton yesterday.

Dominated the game for large periods and were unlucky not to win.

Brighton played a long-ball over the top game and rarely got through and looked nowhere near like a team who have only lost once this season.

Rz will have to up their game to overcome Brentford who will be difficult opponents.

They've started to wrk hard for the new Gaffer Dean Smith like they did for Warburton.

I hope our players can show an equal (if not greater) amount of grit.

But after that soft display at the Dingles' I'm not exactly holding my breath.

1-1 if Reading grow some man-ballz.

A narrow Brentford win if they do not.

Let's see if Brian can inspire this assorted bag to some kind of stiffer stuff. I hope so. I'd like us to win.

As for Gris - sorry Chris - Gunter - stay on your feet. That flounce in the Black Country was pure faggotry.

Cheers.

A spirited but amateurish performance results in 1-3 loss. Vibe with a first half hat-trick and John with an 80th minute consolation

Regardless of the score or the performance the usual suspects come on here later to whinge and whine about nothing in particular.

A nervy 2-0 victory for the 'Ding against a decent Brentford side.

There will be a penalty not converted - don't know who for though.

There will be a flurry of yellow cards in the second half, with at least two players missing out of reds due to a lenient referee.

The queue for Good Old Boy will be too long, I will give up, and probably have a crappy pint of Heineken instead.

The bloke who sits a few seats in front of me will stand up, face the South Stand, and hold his arms out wide in a pathetic taunting gesture at every possible opportunity.

The PR fella will make some horrible convoluted link between Christmas and the "legendary" Madejski "roar."

At half time, the contestant will settle for the gnome.

The car park will be full. The Tilehurst bus will break down on the Meadway. It will not rain.

I thank you.
