Probably best to ask after the refunds have been processed.

Have you had any response from the club yet?

If you don't get a refund will you still attend games?

I sent it afternoon of Friday, so not expecting one until Tuesday at the absolute earliest.

Having checked the terms and conditions I don't see how they can refuse, but if I can't get a refund, then I'll go to the games as normal because I'll have paid for them and the club certainly isn't getting money for nothing from me.

4.3 of Part 2 here might be the key one - http://www.readingfcdirect.co.uk/Terms.aspxp

Season tickets are full and final unless returned before the first game they are valid.

I'd switched seat so I was due a new card, which they wouldn't be issuing until July, so effectively I've returned the card.

I'm thinking of getting a season ticket and an U7s one next to me for free so I can stretch my legs/won't have tossers next to me. Anyone thought of this ingenious idea?

It may have been another miserable season, but some Reading FC season-ticket holders can rest assured it was money well spent.

Research carried out by getreading 's data team has discovered Royals' cheapest season ticket for 2015/16 offered some of the best value for money across the whole country.

Reading's cheapest season ticket cost £135 last year according to the BBC’s Price of Football survey.

Fans were treated to just 25 goals in 23 league games, one of the lowest totals in the division. That included the 5-1 victory against Ipswich Town at the beginning of December and four goalless draws.

However, if you had the cheapest season ticket, that works out at just £5 per goal. No other club offered a better pound-per-goal ratio in England’s top four divisions.

And if you didn't have the cheapest ST? Is this bloke taking the blige or what? 25 goals in 23 league games, with 5 being scored in one game alone. Jeeze, no wonder we resorted to banging some inflatable dolphin around in the end. Sounds like the EP are trying to promote the sale of certain ST's.

Apparently at 5pm tonight the sales of ST are at a similar level to the same point (ie a day before the discount renewal deadline) last year...so in the region of 9000...sales were slow to begin with but have picked up in the last few weeks...official line from inside the TO.

This is just another shocking example of the way the club is being run. Do they really think we are that dumb? I'm surprised they didn't include all the goals scored against us in that figure to come up with ONLY £3 per goal!!! Now that's value for entertainment.
Big load of BoIIocks if you ask me.

A neighbour of mine has been told they can request a refund in writing by post or by emailing memberservices@readingfc.co.uk

Sounds like it's just a formality for anyone wanting one.

If the club ends up with a similar number of ST holders to last year I'd think they'd done well.

Definitely

I think all these people not renewing it will end up just regretting it. Things aren't THAT bad, just a bit in limbo at the minute.

I've renewed, but rather cautiously and only because it cost me £135
