I'm expecting we will set up looking for 0-0 as that, in context,
would be a superb result. We might even nick it 0-1

But if Villa score in the first 25-30 minutes, it could be horrible.

Still can't decide, but we aren't going down!

Villa 1-0 Reading
Villa 1-2 Reading

Villa to score first

Villa 44
Barrow 65
Aluko 75

Might change my mind again when the team is announced!

I figure we will play a lot better than v QPR, as the drilling
begins to have an effect, but we will also fight as we did on Friday.

Will we play Martin, Bod or Smith?

I think Smith's speed and aggression might be a good thing on the break

Hound
Victor Meldrew Reading knackered after Friday's effort might struggle with Grealish dancing through our midfield.

Icing on the cake would be Preston losing at home to Derby to mess up their play-off hopes ahead of our game with them next Saturday but can't see it.

Villa surely more knackered playing 24 hours later? Our players should easily have recovered by then

And see Preston did indeed lose to the shower that is Derby - watched the last 30 mins and they were pretty poor as well. Unfortunately results went well enough for them elsewhere to still have a sniff - if Boro had won would think that would have been it

Yes, shame re-Preston that other results kept them in the top 6 chase.
They were the better side in the first half and missed a penalty which seemed to knock the stuffing out of them.
I am expecting a hard game on Saturday but , in the meantime, let us hope that we get something from tonight's game.

hey mate yes i am from east yorkshire and my name dave i am not a moron and i am a clever lad ok...

i don't go to may home game. but going to last home game of season

If you are a clever lad (your words, not mine) then please explain why you told EVERYONE that the game is off tonight ?
I am outside Villa Park right now, and the game was NEVER in doubt. Your message was not only incorrect, I am also aware of some folks that DID NOT travel tonight having read your earlier message stating the game was called off. I know for a fact that, as a minimum, they would like an explanation......preferably face-to-face.

I was one of them. I was about to get the train up but saw your message and thought better not and gave my ticket away. I cannot go now because of you, you mongtard. I want to meet you face to face at the last game by the jazz cafe and I demand you explain yourself, and I want to see if you have a disability or are just a pfucking idiot.
