How about going for someone like Nathan Jones. Doing very well at Luton Town, plays good attacking football and might like the opportunity to make a step up.....

Yeah someone of that sort would be welcomed by me. My slight reservation is what happened with Ipswich Town and Paul Hurst though. Did really well at Shrewsbury but struggled in the Championship.

Bryn. Gunnasson. He seems to doing quite well in Iceland. He has also said that his dream job would be to manage Reading. He may well be able to bring back the fans to the Mad Stad.

The horse's mouth! Some time ago he said so in a radio interview, most likely Radio Berks, but could have been in Tilehurst End podcast or something along those lines.

Peta would be furious to see you marginalizing horses by using that saying..

I was hoping to read an article.

Maybe if Radio Norwich were interviewing him he'd have said Norwich City then?

Sorry NCS that I coudn't be more precise, but my memory is not what it was many, many years ago.
The horses mouth was an unfortunate phrase to use, I suppose, I meant no offence to horses or Bryn. By the way, who is Peta?

Snowflake Royal
winchester_royal Plenty of good options out there, Jokanovic would be a good appointment but can't see him coming here, I like Warburton too and he's probably the most realistic of the bunch.

However wouldn't it be absolutely wonderful for us to go back to the 'Reading way' and get someone young and up'n'coming from the lower leagues. Two obvious options would be Nathan Jones (Luton) and Dan Cowley (Lincoln). Jones in particular has Luton playing some wonderful football and would certainly come in and make the squad his own. Might be difficult convincing him to leave a promotion chasing Luton, but it's time to show some ambition.

No. I've had my fill of young, inexperienced up and coming managers in Clarke, Stam and Clement.

Sir Steve seems to be doing ok at the moment with no budget ? ..

Gabriel Osho has been recalled a month early from his loan at Aldershot. Someone is making these decisions, a new manager wanting all the recallable loan players back in so he can assess all of the players available to him?
