What a joke. Rather appropriate for both the club and the charidee they are raising money for I suppose.

RoyalBlue Another great initiative messed up by piss poor application.

Got the 2 shirts in basket and to check out only for the payment system to fail (rejected card).

By the time got I got back to try again (having tried three cards) - sold out!

Also women's shirts didn't appear till later but size 12 immediately sold out.

Not poor - you were just too late - sold out. Not clubs fault other than not expecting this level of demand.

Sorry that's rubbish. I was already logged in and was at checkout within 30 seconds of them becoming available. Had someone working on it in parallel and it would seem theirs (for same shirt) did go through despite going to checkout a couple of minutes after me.

I strongly believe that the only reason they sold out before I got mine was because I, like others, wasted time locating other payment cards and trying to get them to work.

I suspect system failed due to immediate high hit then recovered as all of those at front of queue tried to retrieve the situation,

Incidentally, the site is still falling over and won't show any account/order details.

Would have been far better auctioning them (or at least a quantity) off on ebay.

Yup exact same happened to me - in basket payment rejected. I suspect they are holding most back for release in store, which I have no chance of being able to get to.

Yep, that will teach us for going to work to earn money to spend on season tickets etc. !

Before anyone suggests it, I could not get a day's holiday at short notice (don't live in Reading either) and I wasn't going to go off sick.

End of the day the club want them sold and that's what they have appeared to of done...

Unless you are that person who managed to buy 30 of them and selling them on Ebay for £20 which mugs will buy. That has no doubt happened.

Unlikely, given the limit was two. Unless, of course, that was cocked up too.

Not sold out.

Think you might owe RB an apology, Paul.

Funny how you're so interested in buying a red shirt eh? Will match your Bournemouth one.

Can everyone stop crying about a replica shirt? It is really, really sad.

Website now blocked as people try to find out why money appears to have been taken from their accounts when they've not had any email confirmation. Suspect those who tried to pay several times may find they'e been hit by numerous debits from their accounts.

Not a good day in the office for those in the Commercial and IT departments at Reading FC.

Agreed.

Why would people want to know if money has been taken out of their bank account for no reason when they could be spending their time trawling through Anthony Smith's twitter account looking for spelling mistakes?
