Nice to see the filthy Leeds choking. I can't wait to see them get turned over by somebody in the playoffs

I almost want to see Leeds go up for two reasons.

1 gets the pcunts out of our hair for a season
2 It would be great if they celebrated getting back to the big time and then immediately finished 20th and got relegated again. Especially if they spent loads doing it went back into admin and got relegated back to League One.

On the other hand watching them fail again is still really good.

I see where you are coming from but do you really want to sit through an entire summer of all the press lauding Leeds return to "where they belong" and how the PL can only be a better place for them being back.

Watching them muck it up is a beautiful thing - just can't make up my mind if it would be better them losing in the semi finals or at Wembley.

They'd have to go some to do that with the Premier League money and the parachute payments but I like the thought of it I can't lie.

Utter mad scenes today.

Should they have put it out? Technically they dont actually have to. So they did nothing wrong. And yeah I get that they wanted to win obviously so didnt.

But its not the spirit of the game etc .

True, but the spirit of the game was re-established by letting Villa score (except Jansson, obviously)

I’m pretty sure they should’ve put it out when they signalled they were going to, which made all the Villa players stop, instead of just passing the ball forward.

Yeah this. Play on, or stop. Don't stop and then play on.

Yep this. You can't trick the opposition like that, it's not what football is about in this country. Bielsa should get a huge amount of credit.

If you are going to give Bielsa a huge credit for doing this (and every Blade in England undoubtedly does), then the antics of Bamford need to be looked at.
No doubt the red card will be rescinded, but the cheating pcunt needs to be banned for the play offs.

Based on his performance against us earlier in the lead, banning him might help their cause

But generally agreed, he needs a retrospective ban for that, blatant cheating.

It is possible that come Sunday - Leeds could finish 4th in a 3 horse race for promotion.

As unlikely as it is, a defeat at Ipswich coupled with a WBA win over Derby will see them slip to 4th.

Don't think it would happen but then who foresaw Sunderland putting 3 past Wolves on the final day last season?

yeah, wouldn't go so far as saying they faked owt, but they clearly indicated they'd stop playing.

Leeds once again demonstrating the inherent problem with Bielsa's stay of play. It demands a lot of the players physically and if you don't have strength in depth, you'll tail off.

Usual head scratching stuff from panel that reviewed the incident.

El Ghazi: red card rescinded - good decision
Bamford: two match ban for being a cheating twat - good decision
Hourinhane: clear footage of him punching a Leeds player in the stomach, deemed not violent conduct - WTF

Seems fair enough to me.

To be fair, it was out of order and warrant a retrospective ban but I can find myself having little sympathy for Leeds and their years of shithousery.

Don't get me wrong. Its extremely amusing watching the Leeds fans go mental about it having declared promotion done and dusted in the autumn as they had the greatest manager the world has ever seen.
