sandman If we can give an arsehole like Robbie Savage a standing ovation in the last game of his career then surely we can accept giving a good professional like O'Shea at least a cameo in his last ever game.

I just don’t get it. O’Shea is not someone who has much of an association with our club. He has played something like four times this season. I would much rather give one of our youngsters game time.

Agree. O'Shea means nothing to us. Why would we give him a run out when we have our future to look to.

I'm sure if he retired playing against us for someone where he was really appreciated we'd all be polite, but he's played half a dozen matches for us and was a waste of a signing.

And cost the club £1 million for what?
Hopefully tomorrow will see Gunter's last game for us with the latest two managers not rating him and seldom playing him.
Regrettably his mate Mc Cleary might be playing his last game as well and it has been sad to see him deteriorate this season
Both IMHO should now be offloaded if possible regardless of having one year left on their contracts..

I'd keep both unless we can get money for them. Both would need replacing (unless Watson / Howe are really ready) and you're not going to find a better back up fullback than Gunter, so might as well see out the contracts.

McCleary can still produce assists.

Come on, look at the name... Gunts

Now stick Herr in front of it.

Obvious, of course he's responsible

Something something appeasement. Sorry I'm smashed. I'll think of a joke in the morning.

Following events at the County Ground and Moss Rose yesterday. Reading are now the 4th oldest football league club and, obviously, still the oldest football league club south of the Trent river.

Just Stoke, Forest and Wednesday left in the way now

Interesting team. That’s probably harriott off as well. Sad to see Kelly’s injury problems still causing him problems

Yep was trying to work out who was missing. Harriott, Kelly noticeable. Eza on the bench though interestingly

Goals may well be a problem.

Are none of Osho, Holmes and McIntyre here and fit?

Bod not there either, neither mcshane

McIntyre played Friday. I think the thinking from Gomes was he didn’t need two CBs on bench and he wanted to give O’Shea a final run out

McIntyre played for the U23's on Friday evening as did Osho who was replaced by Holmes after injury. Howe did as well and had a good game & scored.

Yeah Osho was injured in that match as well. Surprised but pleased to see Howe on the bench despite playing 120 minutes on Friday. Doubt he’ll come on though

O'Shea can oxf*rd right off. McIntyre is home grown and has a future. O'Shea's done nothing for us.
