Win at home, draw away, pretty much what you'd ask for.

More than happy with that. Excellent display at a tough game. Pretty much bossed it except 10 mins either side of half time

Madness sidelining Baldock. Ridiculous - he showed exactly why he should have been around. Caused them a lot of issues and deserved his goal

Great result......McCleary looked brilliant back in his normal position.

Excellent result to come from behind twice away to a team in decent form, A bit of fight and a bit of spirit. Good to see.

Impressed all around. I loved the harrying and pressing - never really gave them much room. Far cry from the laid-back approach of giving the opponent their complete half of the pitch.

Liked the idea of trying to build-out from the back, but not force it.

McCleary must be on PEDs because he was quick and energetic.

Both strikers on the score sheet.

Got to be happy with that. Four points from two teams pushing for promotion is an excellent return.

Just a game at what could potentially be the league leaders on Saturday.

EDIT: Okay never mind, West Brom just equalised, they could be 2nd though!

Why did QPR take off Wells out of interest? Bizarre decision and looked totally toothless afterwards

Ovie just said that the new manager has been keen to imorove the dirty part of the game, pressing and tackling and Ovie sounded like he approved

Very pleasing watch that. Recent events have clearly galvanised the squad, because that's the most effort and desire I've seen from a Reading side in a long time. We were well up for it, even looking a bit haphazard at times as a result.

Crucial goals for both Puscas and Baldock's confidence also.

Indeed but then some winnable games. I was concerned we would be bottom by Saturday night pre Preston. Now we have picked up two very good results. It’s looking better than it was. We have now drawn at WBA, Swansea and QPR. The League looks closer than ever this time around.

Fair enough but I really don’t rate Puscas that highly. Any + marks for his goal wiped out by giving away possession so pathetically for their 1st goal.

I was amongst the skeptics when we appointed Bowen, but who can argue with 4 points from 2 tough games? Not that it gets any easier on Saturday

Great draw. Positive about bowen so far and the team are clearly hungry to play for him

Yes the 1872 photo shows we wore blue and white hoops, many years before QPR were even formed. TBF to them I am not aware of them having anything other than hoops where we have had several changes, over the years.

As I understand it, we stopped wearing the hoops for several years during which time QPR adopted them. I haven't got time now to find out when we returned to them but will report back later if no-one else has found out.

Jack Mansell re-introduced the Hoops for the 1970-71 season.

Actually in 1969/70 along with our shiny new floodlights.

And a nice point at the false hoops!
