I can't see in any way why this would be a good thing for the club. I'd be genuinely concerned if I was a fan about just how messed up their accounts are

Yes, this. I'd never do it because, apart from trying to find that kind of money up-front, I'd be worried they were desperately trying to get in cash to stave off administration, and I'd be throwing money down the drain.

Hound Smacks of desperation to get some cash in tbh

Yeh buts it not like its going to cost them much. £6400 isn't far off the price of season ticket for 12 or so years. Additionally they average 24k attendance in a stadium that can seat almost 40k so even if they do go up they've still plenty of space for new fans being charged expensive prem ticket prices. Having signed up fans for 10 years min almost guarantees bums on seats, and pints and hot dogs bought in the concourse which is the real revenue generator. They know they'll probably be down after a year anyway and will have however many fans signed up
to come to games whether they like it or not. Now whether anyone actually takes up the offer is a different question...

The Kop season ticket costs the same as 10 years at the existing ST price so they will lose out there as will be surprised if a ST there is still the same price in a decade even if they aren't promoted. They also will allow you to cash in a year of your ST and retain it so they could find themselves in a position where they see a negative flow of ST money if things go tits up - for example, what if the FL decide to make an example of them for dodgy accoutning practices and relegate them a division or 2 - you could easily see people cashing in if the bought hoping to see PL football but instead are hosting Forest Green.

Some people will take them up on it but this definitely feels like they are trying to get some money onto the books now in order to be able to count some of the future ST income in this years FFP rather than next. Potentially worried they may miss the mark and don't have another stadium to sell.

St Andrews will be fun on 4th round day given Brum were drawn away to their tenants Coventry. They’ll get allocated the away end and therefore up to 20% of capacity.

Think there should be rules in place guarding against this sort of thing, mainly for safety reasons. If you are in a position where you need to ground share then should you be drawn at home to you landlord the game must be switched making the tenant the away team.

Both teams will get 50:50 ticket split and Cov. will use the home dressing room.

Automatic 9 point deduction isn't it for that?

Is that what Birmingham got last season?

If so, would drop them down to 20th and 1 point above the drop zone.

It would be weird to see the Championship without Derby in it.

I just hope that we are out of the woods in respect of profit and sustainability and so I have no intention of gloating over anyone else's misfortune in this respect.

I think that means there are now three clubs who might get points deductions - Derby, Sheff Wed and Birmingham again. It could have quite an effect on the final league table.

All depends on why Derby have breached. Ground was sold for £80m, ours for £27m IIRC. No way is the ground or the land it sits on worth nearly 3x as much in Derby as land 25 mins from Heathrow.

We may still be in trouble but we appear to have played ball so would hope not.

I have read two separate articles today and in both they quote Reading fc along with Birmingham and Sheffield Wednesday as under scrutiny for being in similar position to derby linked to their selling of ground rights!! Should we be worried?
