Elm Park Kid I don't understand how a new owner will help? The current ones literally spent more than they were allowed to, they have been pretty decent to fans throughout and have respected the club's heritage.
I mean - I would prefer it if all clubs were owned by fans and we end this whole 'millionaire/billionaire toys' thing. I also wish they'd hire managers with proven experience rather than rolling the die each time. But - we could be doing far, far, far worse.

Spending more than allowed has lead to years of transfer embargos and a soon to be points deduction. Owners who spend what we have, and spend it more wisely rather than on excessively priced shit on long contracts would be preferable. Nationality irrelevant.

Indeed, just look Ron Gourlay (British) who ran the club for the owners.Snowflake Royal What's with all the borderline casual racism and xenophobia recently?
oxf*rd nationality and race. What we want is competency and there's absolutely no need or expectation that comes simply from being British.

When SJM was the owner, many fans were saying we should spend more/ we will never get promoted on a shoestring/ where's all the money gone? etc. Now we have owners who are willing to spend big, there are many fans who say the opposite. It strikes me that a football club owner can't get it right! It would be nice to know how many posters on this forum lambasted both Sir John and the Dai's for running the club in opposing ways.
