Commentary via t'internet?

by Reading Abbey » 17 Aug 2006 10:31

Is something in the pipeline for coverage of the match commentary to be broadcast over the interweb?

If due to work, I can't make a game home or away, I hate having to settle for 107, and often don't. Sky Sports News is monitored like a hawk, to the wife's disgust.

Cheers.

Just out of curiosity, what happens to the pre- and post-match broadcast on the internet. I've never tried to listen to it but, as an exile, maybe I should. Just the broadcast cut at kick-off, or do they just not broadcast any of the show?

No online commentary I'm afraid, we don't have the rights.

You CAN, however, hear the sports show up until 5 minutes before the game starts, and again after full time (it's usually back online by around 5pm for a 3pm kick-off).

And there'll be post-match interviews etc online asap after the final whistle too.

Great, I shall make a point of tuning in for the away days then.

That someone would be me, but I need to work out what precisely - according to the contract - we can and can't do. So no post-match BBCRB online tonight, but I'm hoping we definitely can in future. My error.

Apologies for depriving you!

Steve Coppell interview is available to listen online though (see, I have been doing something  ).

Thanks for that.
And, of course, I was in no way suggesting you were slacking off at work
You're not really depriving me anyway, it's nearly 1am here in China and I should go to bed!
