Congratulations to Alex Pearce who has been called into the full Ireland squad ahead of their fixture tomorrow night against Oman. Pearce has had a mixed International career through his youth - featuring for both Ireland and Scotland at junior level. Pearce, outstanding throughout the entire of last season, fully deserves his call up for senior International football.

The Oman squad are currently training in London and the friendly against Ireland will take place at Fulham's Craven Cottage. Given the nature of the fixture it seems likely that Pearce will see some action.
