A big turn out is expected from Reading with Royals fans expecting to massively outnumber "Wimbledon" fans. However a large number of Reading fans will miss to game to support the Wimbledon fans in their protest against the shell of a club that has deliberately severed all ties with its fans and its home location by choosing to re-locate to Milton Keynes. This is not the real Wimbledon Football Club - the real club have been forced to reform several divisions below the football league and work their way back up. Reading are playing a non-club this Saturday undeserving of a penny of football fans money. If you choose to attend the game to support the Royals then make sure you buy nothing inside the ground and pay only for the price of the ticket to watch Reading. Lets hope Reading add another nail in the coffin of this franchised "club" we are forced to play with a sound victory.

By Train
Get off at Selhurst or Thornton Heath stations (which are available from London Victoria), and then it's walking distance to the ground.
By Car
Exit the M25 at Junction 7 and follow the signs for the A23 to Croydon. Turn onto the A23 and stay on it until Thornton Heath when you exit onto the B266 (Brigstock Road), pass Thornton Heath station and start looking for somewhere to park up!

Beer
The Railway Telegraph pub is good for away fans. Plenty of room and good beer. It's opposite Thornton Heath station on Brigstock Road.

Wimbledon FC now exist in the form of AFC Wimbledon and are busy fighting their way back through the lower non-leagues backed by their full set of supporters. The Milton Keynes form of Wimbledon, who Reading are set to play, therefore have no history - and almost certainly no future.
