Much as I've badmothed Madejski I'm delighted with his humility and balls to get rid of him when he did.
Madejski is an absolute master of a chairman when it comes to hiring and firing managers and for that I will always respect him.

If you are an "absolute master of a chairman" for hiring Rodgers, how can you still be an "absolute master of a chairman" for firing him?
"I'm delighted with his humility, an absolute master of a chairman" Sorry 2WW1WC, this has made day. Thank you.
I'm in the Madman out camp. I don't live up his rectum like many on here do and am able to see past teh invetsment he made into the club (for his own good).
But I have to give him credit for: McGhee, Gooding and Quinn, Pardew, Coppell, McDermott.
Yes Burns was a mistake but it was a big name signing we were all calling for. And he got rid of him.
Yes Bullivant was a mistake but again he got rid of him.
Yes Rodgers was an unforgiveable signing obvious to all off us but Royalee (go figure!)... but then again he got rid of him quicker than he got rid of anyone else and lost a lot of money in the process.
I don't like Madejksi's lack of ambition or balls *at the moment*, but on balance I respect his hiring and firing of managers. Credit where it's due.
