Re: 2019/20 Season - How will it end?

Sanguine Is it really that difficult to make room for (say) two additional Premier League game weeks?

What and share out that Premier League money amongst two extra clubs? I don't think you understand how modern football works.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

It'll be fine. Based on the new rules it would only be a problem if there were three brother's playing in a match and they lived in separate houses. Or something.

Re: Sky Sports/ BT Sports

Sky are allowing subscribers to ‘pause’ their sports channel subscriptions. Can pause it online. Still watch the channels but not get charged until the sport is back A welcome move - albeit Sky say that we 'don't need to do anything to turn it back on', which leads me to wonder why they can't just ...

Re: 2019/20 Season - How will it end?

Someone should tell Karen Brady that if the season gets cancelled that it'll start again in August but all clubs must have the same manager and players as they did in August '19. See how keen she is on it then.

Good to see the EFL are keeping up their exceptionally high standards for checking out prospective new owners.

Re: New heading guidance for 6-18 year olds

Jnr II has adopted this wholeheartedly, mainly because he's too scared to head the ball in case it hurts. He's also trying to make sure he doesn't get left foot AIDS.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Hendo Looks like Adam Lallana will be leaving Liverpool when his contract runs out at the end of the season.

Would be a superb pick-up for any mid to upper-table team.

Ideal replacement for Linguard then.

Re: VAR

That's going to come down to the same mm decisions being made just in a different place or am I missing something? They're still going to be drawing a line on a back foot (or other part of body) when the ball is played.

yep, just seen the Maguire kick again. I rem'd it as the leg he had held high going into the player but it's the other one coming up that makes contact Yeah, I can't see how deliberately putting your boot into an opponents nads isn't at least a yellow card. I was agreeing that he prolly should have...

Re: Dirty LOLeeds

What surprises me is how little they have done to invest in the squad this season-in fact they sold the very promising winger Clarke to Spurs. Pablo Hernandez is key to their success and he has only recently returned from injury. They got Clarke back on loan immediately and then didn't play him. Go...

So why have the rule at all if you're not going to enforce it? They seem quite happy deal in mm for offside that's more difficult to judge.

Re: The generic transfer thread

TDD went bad as soon as they stopped having Natalie Sawyer in a nice yellow frock. What's the point of panic spunking millions of pounds on mediocre players who aren't going to make a jot of difference to your promotion/relegation battle if there's no incentive to switch Sky Sports News on.

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

My favourite bit of commentary last night was "United are struggling to get Lingard into the game" was quite surprised that Neville didn't follow up with "as they have been for about 3 years". There's a decent player there just not a top class one. Strip away the premium that see...

Re: Best/Worst Pundit

Always thought Robbie Savage was OK (a bit controversial for the sake of it at times), but he's dropped a few points today with his comments about marks given to players for performances. Apparently, Phil Jones was given an average score of just under 3 for his performance against City the other ni...
