Re: Rumour - Perry Ng

Was Ng a Bowen target? I guess he could've been, but I don't remember seeing his name before Bowen left. Does it matter if he was. If you choose to believe that Eddie guy off Twitter, the main problem with Bowen was Bowen. He was allegedly actively disliked by many at the club before he was replace...

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

I know a lot of people on here hate Aluko and would prefer to see him do badly than prove them wrong ... but I think he did really well when he came on. I'm hoping he proves all the haters wrong ...

Re: Rumour - Rodrigo Riquelme

If you are good enough you don’t need plan B or wiry about teams working you out. Coppell didn’t have a plan B. Same team every week, same tactics, even made the same subs at the same time every game ! Ok, we’re not quite that good currently but I’d rather we did one thing so well that no one could...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h) sponsored by Dean Morgan

Excited to see Tetek play - he is same age group as my son and used to be one of the best players in his age group in the Oxford youth league before joining Reading. He was an outstanding player then ... interested to see what he looks like now.

Re: ifollow

I'm really torn. It's a lot of money to sit and watch a match on the computer. But I have enough residual loyalty and enthusiasm that I'm sure, come the few hours before kick off, I'll be making excuses about not being able to join the family, forking out a tenner and settling down to shout at no o...

Re: (Soon to be) CONFIMRED - some kind of Serbian bloke

Apparently he likes to keep the ball on the deck at all costs Sounds rather familiar. We create few enough chances as it is. Caught what various journos said about his teams on BBC Berks Listening to journalistic comment on BBC Berks earlier about Mr Paunovic’s teams the bits I remember were 1. Tea...

Notts Royal My life...the Twitter replies to the official announcement! Absolute vitriol...as you’d expect.

Dai really is alienating the fans...he can oxf*rd off as far as I’m concerned

Yeah let's get rid of our owner and go bankrupt instead ... great idea.

Good shout ... Grealish would definitely give us something up front but I think some players are probably ahead of him including Aluko.

Re: Swift to... Southampton

I hope Sheffield United and Leeds stay up. Don’t want them anywhere near us. Would releg8 Fulham, Southampton and one other, maybe West Ham because we always beat them. No way Southampton are going down - they had one of the best records in the PL after lockdown ... they have a very good manager wh...

Re: End of season ratings

Agree ratings are rather off, but shame others had to destroy an interesting debate with name calling. Surely, it does not make sense to rate Olise as our highest rated player given he did not score a single goal and did not get many assists ... our top rated players despite their faults have to be ...

I think EH is an amazing manager and seems an incredibly decent guy as well - think Bournemouth would have been a very good bet to go straight up again with him; without him, they might very easily drop ... although they do have decent investment behind them. I would agree that his best bet would be...

Re: Confimred loan - Ovie Ejaria

On the whole scouting thing Brentford seem to do a lot of recruitment from France. Thats not revolutionary. Alan Carrs dad did it for Newcastle for years. Its a well known bargain bin. The other thing on Brentford is the owners pay 0 attention to the table. They see that as a false way to evaluate ...

Interesting to see Bowen being sympathetic to Bowyer in the interview after the game FWIW didn’t think it was a pen to them but the goal was prob on side But then I thought Aneke should have been sent off as well Agree mainly with Ian’s ratings Just watched replay and looks about a yard off-side ...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Because they are freezing samples then batch analysing them, the results will too late to be of any clinical use. They could tell you that you had it today in a year's time Not that late ... it's more likely in a few weeks or a month's time; and the samples are also anonymised as is standard practi...
