Re: BFTG Boro

Zip
What frustrates me is we are losing to sides we are more than capable of beating. For Boro read Hull.

Another day a different result. Consistancy is some way off.

Re: BFTG - Charlton

I have to say he got it spot on. They kept their shape superbly. Charlton were excellent in the second half. They took control right from the start. That's the advantage of having an established promotion side. Yesterday we looked like a team of strangers on occcasions . Little movement. Slow predi...

Re: Reading v Charlton Game 08 2019-20 Prediction League

I dearly hope we win 4-0, 5,0, 6-0 but I have to say the level of optimism about this game quite amazes me. Blackburn 1-2 Charlton (A) Charlton 3-1 Stoke Barnsley 2-2 Charlton (A) Charlton 1-1 Forest Charlton 1-0 Brentford F8-6A 11 Points @ 2.2 ppg I guess people are convincing themselves that, ATM...

Re: BFTG - Charlton

I felt that had we scored that game would have been ours, I wasn't happy with the substitions as it just felt like we lost our shape and Meite was so desperate to score from RWB it was just too predictable. Would have preferred to swap Puscas for Rinomhota and gain some solidity through the middle ...

Re: BFTG - Charlton

Where was the fight in the second half? At least there's time for Gomes & Co to work on the energy levels.

Odd game. Reckon Charlton will be found out later in the season.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (h) sponsored by Dave Shipperley

Yes a minutes applause will be very comforting wont it? Bury were expelled from the league on the 27th August. but I don't see why we need to give them a minutes applause for that.. I get it for a death of somebody or a former player or whatever but you cant just start applauding for any old thing ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (h) sponsored by Dave Shipperley

We've had this message from the Football Supporters Association: Off to the match this weekend? Think of those Bury fans whose club has been taken away from them. Let's show some solidarity with a minute's applause on the 27th minute at grounds across the country on Saturday/Sunday. Even though the...

Re: Who do you want in Round Three?

Assuming Wolves go through to the group stages, this game is likely to be played on the Wednesday 25th as their first group stage game will take place on the 19th, hence pushing their league game back to the 22nd and then the league cup game Considering Wolves’ fixture congestion, it may not be as ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Plymouth Argyle (a) sponsored by Glen Little

Only 3 league games in September, I would expect a much stronger side the next round. Me too, especially if we draw Oxford. Don't take chances with that. Selection gamble tonight paid off. Senior subs and late goals got us through. I couldn’t disagree more. We have some excellent young players who ...

Let's hope for a decent "money" game. Home would be nice to Manchester United. Then charge them £50 a ticket.

Snowflake Royal Brilliant news for Barrett, Yak and Obita. Good to see Howe, Rino, Loader and Olise picking up minutes too.

Nigel and his wife must have been proud parents tonight. Winning debut.

Re: BFTG Huddersfield Away

Yeh we initially had good crowds for the season post relegation. They've a far better history than us. Are you a Leeds fan in disguise? Yes, Huddersfield won some stuff a long time ago. Ha Ha no I'm not. What have we won recently? With the way football is heading. A divide is going to open up. My c...

On current form we would probably drop Moore[/quote]

Would leave full back areas exposed. Nor are we currently blessed with wingers.

Re: BFTG Huddersfield Away

How quickly they forget that untill Wagner came in they were nothing more than a yo-yo club between league one and the championship. They'll be back to exactly that next season. Reading are hardly one of the big clubs........... 21,847 turned up on Saturday for the game. Seems as if they stick with...
