Re: Back from I Follow Luton

A lot of comments on how poor Luton were today, but they were unbeaten since the restart and looked like making a decent fist of their relegation battle. Many would have taken a point before kick off, so 5-0 is a great result. Let's give ourselves proper credit where it's due. Very much this. We sl...

Re: Back from I Follow Luton

Let’s not forget this was only Osho’s second start in League football and he was playing out of position. I thought he did well after a shaky start. He needs a run in the side now until the end of the season. He could be a very handy back up to Yids as well as covering at centre back. I’d like to s...

Re: Back from I Follow Luton

Basically that Again convinced we can lose 15+ players and still have enough to tread water next season I honestly wouldn't get carried away today. Luton were as poor as we played well I don’t think you can get any less carried away than ‘mid table team in a mid table position’ Be an improvement on...

Re: Back from I Follow Luton

Mid table team in mid table position. Ship steadied. Just need to keep the core together for next season. There's something to build on.

Mid Sussex Royal Look much better with Pele in, wish we could sign him

Been a journeyman for a reason. Key position to fill in Bowen's recruitment drive.

Zip Rinomhota getting through an awful lot of work

With Gomes in the team frees him up.

Blackett is underrated. Good positioning and passing today.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a) sponsored by Sean Evers

Lot of fixtures to play in a short time window. Rotating the squad makes sense. An opportunity for some to stake a claim for a new contract.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a) sponsored by Sean Evers

Wingers is old fashioned. Just need full backs who can cross decently. Both wide players should be cutting inside to create the space........

karbota
Lower West Ejaria slows the game down. Short passess, no shots, few crosses. Beginning to wonder what contribution he actually makes to the team.

Same here, Harper like.

Harper played with energy though and covered ground.

Re: Finance

Can't see whether any cash has been injected from that. It's possible that the shares have been issued but not paid up. Not knowing very much about these things, wouldn’t the shares just be bought up by Mr Yongge either directly or through one of his businesses or is that not allowed? That's not ne...

Hound not the most reliable of sources, but C Friday reckoned he was on a shit ton of wages as well.

Probably why even Manchester United have shed a load of junior players. No money in the game currently.

Re: Swift to... Southampton

I think Swift would be fine at Sheff U or Leeds He is lower-prem quality imo, no doubts about it. His fitness has improved massively this year. I'm not really on board with the 'he is the same as Ejaria and Olise'. He is a much more rounded player at this point in time. Agree on rounded, his stamin...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Fox Talbot Disappointed to see Ben House go, given how few goalscorers the Academy produces.

Poor lad got on the Academy Board merely for a five minute micro-cameo in a cup tie before being sacrificed when we had a red carded defender.

Didn't show much when on loan at Swindon.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Football is no different to the wider economy. Days of bloated squads are over for the foreseeable future. Be lots of footballers vying for work.

Can see the cup competitions being lost entirely next season.

Re: BFIFollow Brentford

I don't get this recent switch of opinion on Ejaria so many seem to be having. He's brilliant, he pulls players out of the game, beats players and creates spaces because the opposition know his danger. Personally I'd be putting more responsibility on the other players to use those spaces that he cr...
