Re: Opposition fans back from the game

NewCorkSeth Do we press a lot? Thought we only really press in midifield. Its not like we press high up.

Paunovic wants us to press in the "right way" apparently according to a recent interview with Laurent. So can only assume that means in certain situations rather than constantly.

Winston Biscuit
Winston Biscuit Bayern Munich's last 31 games in all comps:

won 30
drawn 1

Bayern lose 4-1 at Hoffenheim!

Could have been 5 or 6 as well. Hoffenheim looked very good but also shows just how bad Schalke were on opening night. David Wagner fired yesterday following yet another defeat for them.

Re: Marc McNulty arrested for match fixing

From soccerbase: - Never booked for Reading. - Not booked in the Mickey Mouse league game where he supposedly attracted bets. So the evidence says he's not guilty of card-fixing. Or is there a market for "time of first card"? Then if someone else gets in first you wouldn't need to do so. ...

SouthDownsRoyal LiveScore has us top so we must be

If the table were final we would be top. Away goals is a tie-break.

SouthDownsRoyal Has this been confirmed yet?

If not, then we might be in trouble for naming him on the bench yesterday.

Re: Marc McNulty arrested for match fixing

Pepe the Horseman Anyway, I agree he shouldn't play for us again, but that's because he's shite. If it was Lucas Joao we'd all be screaming innocent until proven guilty.

This.

Re: Marc McNulty arrested for match fixing

oxf*rd hell chaps. Let's all have a party because one of our players is allegedly suspected of match fixing so we can sack him and get him off the wage budget easier? Don't try too hard to hide your feelings. That's cold. He cheated and done something illegal. I assume if we had somebody arrested f...

Re: Marc McNulty arrested for match fixing

I think I'd rather wait until he's found guilty before I join in with any joy at bundling him out of the club.

Hound Blackburn look decent

They do. Have played 2 shocking sides but took them both to the cleaners which is a good sign for them.

With the injuries, bar Swift, we only have one more game until the 17th, so no major panic. Shows the need for another couple of bodies though.

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Very unfair that Orient got kicked out the Carabao Cup, even though it is the rules. Doubt spurs would have been kicked out Wrong thread but I disagree - player safety has to come first and in this shortened season being unable to fulfil a cup fixture has to mean expulsion. My concern about it thou...

Re: Champions League/Europa League 2020/21

Was he tipped off? if not then its impressive to spot that. Not sure, I did read that Lloris was able to wrap his had around the bar, and he isn't the biggest 'keeper going, so he might've reported back to Jose while they were doing warm-ups. Yeah, the keepers reported that the goals seemed small d...

Re: Rumour - Rodrigo Riquelme

Paunović on Riquelme situation: "I wish I can tell you more - all the circumstances of the times we're living are making closing the deal difficult. He's in Reading, we've had permission to have him in training from Athletico, we're looking to extend that." Definitely sounds like the EFL ...

Re: Rumour - Rodrigo Riquelme

Made worse by the constant tweets about him and how the club need to announce him. In reality transfers probably take a really long time to complete, but we just don't know about them as early as we knew about this one. i.e. with him being on trial when VP joined, etc.. Wouldn't surprise me if this...

Re: Rumour- Lewis Gibson

According to ITK Eddie on Twitter we are looking to ship Tom McIntyre out on loan. Baffling that. Cant see how the new manager has seen enough of him to decide that given he was away on international duty for a good bit. A loan could be perfect for him, I do not see that as a negative at all - seas...

Re: Rumour- Lewis Gibson

I'll stick my neck out and say I'll see how the first month or two goes before deciding which hill to plant my flag on and die over him. I will say that if he significantly blocks opportunity for McIntyre, Holmes or Richards and isn't here next season I'm likely to be pissed. boring fence sitting I...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Any other teams out there that use a / in their name? Could be a nice unique thing for them 'Cmon you forward slashes!!' Loosely related - I would love to see the reaction of someone who lives on the equator, who doesnt know about shifting daylight hours, having it explained to them that in some pa...
