Re: Bowen Out.

Hound WBA away is actually our best performance of the season imo

Thought we could have been onto something really good at the time

It was up there but IIRC we also got pretty lucky that a penalty wasn't awarded 5 mins in which could have made for a very different game.

Re: Champions League/Europa League 2019/20

Thought UEFA brought in a few years ago to say no other televised football can be on when CL games are on. City Vs West Ham on sky tonight. It is a rule they are fairly flexible with i.e. a game can be televised if it was already scheduled for live coverage and postponed a la last night - games can...

Re: CheLOLsea

No easy ones in that, haven't they been troubled by Bournemouth a couple of times recently? Villa also won't be easy. Does Frank Lampard go? Has he been found out at this level and his ''club legend status'' protection finally wearing thin? No, he came in under a transfer ban so couldn't add in any...

Idiots!!! https://royals.org/matdoc/190205.html Crazy end to that season (though obviously the following year made up for it) 70pts after 43 games and seemingly a shoe in for the play-offs we contrived to lose our last 3 games to let Pardew's West Ham sneak in and go on to win the play-offs. What g...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Simon Church

Unless we get 0 points or 6 from our next two, I’d certainly be looking to rest a few for the Barnsley game just before United We can focus on developing styles and players once we have nothing to play for but whilst the cup is still a viable option, I think it’s mad to write it off Spoiler alert. ...

Re: VAR

Arsene Wenger using his new role at FIFA to try and push a change to the offside rule following the introduction of VAR - think it has been mentioned on here as well as the best way forward. Change would be that a player is onside if any part of his body that can score a goal is onside i.e. if their...

Re: Champions League/Europa League 2019/20

I guess the only frustrating thing for their fans is that they know the player is going to be sold in the next few years, but I guess if it keeps happening it is fine :) Reminds me of a time when Atletico went through a stage of just producing or acquiring world class strikers. You had Aguero, Forl...

Dortmund really know how to pick a player, it's quite impressive I guess the only frustrating thing for their fans is that they know the player is going to be sold in the next few years, but I guess if it keeps happening it is fine :) Reminds me of a time when Atletico went through a stage of just ...

Franchise FC Holy shit !
The last thing we need is Liverpool to get knocked out of the CL. They’d actually try in all the PL games

Liverpool will win the 2nd leg 3-0.

Re: Champions League/Europa League 2019/20

Fcuk me that Haaland kid is something else. United should have broken the bank to get him. Doesn't he have a "low" buy-out clause, something like €60m or something like that, if Utd got Champions League football (which isn't outside the realms of possibility) they could make a shock move ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Simon Church

Needs to be noted that before the end of February we will have played all the current top ten home and away with the exception of Blackburn (A) and Brentford (H), there are certainly enough games after this Saturday to make a late push. Can't see it. Saturday, 22 - Leeds United (a) LOSS (Draw) Wedn...

Table misses off the Preston win in his first game https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-tables/competition:championship/daterange/fromdate:2019-Oct-18/todate:2020-Jun-01/type:home-and-away/ Makes us 7th - 1 point outside the top 6. Could one of the experts on here who are adamant that the club don`t cover the academy in full because there is no interest in the academy from the fans(or enough of the fans) explain why the club are always very quick to tell us of a contract signing- maybe these experts know that it`s only when t...

Re: Bowen Out.

If the table is done from the moment Bowen was appointed - where would we be league position wise? Anyone done that stat? We'd be 11th, four points off the top 6. https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-tables/competition:championship/daterange/fromdate:2019-Oct-20/todate:2020-Jun-01/type:home-and-away/ Exce...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Simon Church

We would be best served investing everything into the cup match with Sheffield United. We have nothing to play for in the league. That game is 3 fixtures away, shall we sack off the Wigan and Barnsley games as well, as we have nothing to play for in the league? Then what if we beat Sheffield United...

Chelsea's loss last night means Liverpool are the first team to qualify for the 2020/21 Champions League. Goes without saying but this is the earliest that that has been achieved. Trying to find the article, I think it was on Unibet - there are in the region of 35 records that Liverpool could set t...
