Re: Ex Royals

Hound Thought that was a really decent goal tbf from him

I think we can forget any chance of him coming back on loan, not that it was ever realistic

Smith was decent - held the ball up well and constantly caused issues for Blackburn's back line. Defs looked championship quality on that evidence.

Re: You can’t say I didn’t warn you!

Given Couhig was at the game today, I'd hope one of the journos would seek him out and ask him, but given they are so poor at their job I very much doubt that will happen.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stockport County (h)

4 games in 9 days is madness - I can't be bothered to look but is this how it always is at Christmas?

This game should be taking place in midweek if it has to be played now.

Sutekh
Mid Sussex Royal Going to be recalled by City due to lack of game time.

So either this is the load of bollox we all think it is or, based on today’s starting XI, Reading are anxious to keep him.

Could well be, was reported by the Daily Mail's Manchester reporter.

Hound Well not that it nec means anything but Burns and MoM are featured on the email advertising the game today…

Yes - Burns is actually doing the player preview of the game so can't imagine he's not available today.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (a)

I agree with all the comments above on style of football, and the game felt similar to Bolton A in terms of being outplayed. What I would say though, and perhaps you need to be at the game to see it, is we are way way better out of possession than we were under Hunt and that is usually the first par...

Re: Injury watch 2025/26

Sutekh Paddy Lane has a tendon injury and has apparently been struggling with his recovery.

Thanks - so could be anything regarding returning I guess.

So along with Paddy Lane we have both Williams's out, Ben Elliott and Kelvin E of the usual first team squad......anyone got any info on any of these?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (a)

Royals and Racers Even though in their preview of tonight’s match RFC are saying the match is on SKY + i still think it’s NOT !

It isn't according to Sky; they've selected 2 League One games for red button.

All games on on new year's day but again on Sunday V Stockport just selected games.

Re: Favourite Reading game?

Crossing over from the thread about that Plymouth game 40 years ago (and I think we may have done this before but it is the time of year for reminiscing and when we haven't been doing so well lately it seems right to remember the good times) what is your favourite? There have been quite a few but T...

Pitch inspection 4pm....BBC forecast says heavy rain until 5 then lighter rain until the end of the game.

If the pitch isn't playable at 4 it will be off.

Then they can play Sat and we'll get a better gate.

The player budget this season has been heavily influenced by the new EFL spending rules in place in L1, Couhig mentioned on more tha...
