Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored by Chris Casper

If we’re concerned about Cardiff being a big side, maybe there’s a case for bringing in Holmes? And similarly, I think I’d probably leave Olise on the bench. He doesn’t offer as much defensively as his competitors and his versatility in many ways makes him the ideal sub. Very harsh after his first ...

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

One thing I’m impressed by is how much better we are on set pieces. We seem a lot more intelligent with our movement with Moore in particular and it’s paid the dividends. Last year they barely beat the first man. Problem is if we play a team good at set pieces we might struggle to score goals... As...

Re: The Non - League thread

Basingstoke slump out of the FA Cup 1-3 on pens to 10 man Christchurch after a 2-2 draw. That eclipses even Reading’s usually shambolic performances with penalties. Terrible blow for Basingstoke. All with what is going on with the club at the moment, a cup run and publicity would of been very most ...

He got abuse in his inbox for it apparently, been crying about it for the past half hour. I saw that cry for help from him last night - what an absolute squealer. He acts like the stereotypical hack of the 80s. Unpleasant man. In terms of how it should be done, step forward Charles Watts. Proper jo...

Re: BFTiFollow - Luton (h) - Carabao Cup

Let's be real here. This game was an opportunity for non-first teamers to show what they can do with little emphasis on tactics. So anyone expecting to see an all action performance and the team setup to their tactical best in the space of 2 days is off their head on meth. Is playing Man Utd ressie...

Re: Weekend Football

Leeds played well, but I'm always unconvinced by the "if we play that way, we'll be ok" Teams that do that have just played as well as they can and lost How often does that happen ? And this is a generic statement rather than directed specifically at Leeds Yeah pretty sure that was said a...

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Pepe the Horseman Sky Bet are offering a free £5 bet to use on anything, if you place a bet of 5p(!) or more on Watford v Boro.

Coral's promotions are absolutely rubbish in comparison to what Skybet and others do.

Silver Fox Didn't watch the game but caught the highlights. I just wanted to check in and confirm the rumour I'd heard that we are definitely going up is true?

Re: The Non - League thread

Great update FOC - thank you. Some healthy attendances there at the weekend, good to see. Tadley progress, fantastic, and Basingstoke Town getting some much needed attention being the last scheduled FA Cup game this evening. They need a win. Work is progressing on their ground, pre built stands and ...

With all the sitting on the fence, backtracking etc - Snowflake Royal was the favourite - it mirrors both styles!!! :-)

Notts Royal How long is it taking for Fulham to build that new stand? It’s been going on for well over a year now & looks nowhere near done!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a) sponsored by things to come

Whilst we’ve got Joao on it seems silly to be reluctant to get crosses in. Lads oxf*rd massive. As long as Joao is on I fancy us to put away a high percentage of our chances, but we do seem reluctant to have a go and quite slow again. An injury to him and I could see us going on a long barren run p...

on a separate note and not to have a dig at the previous poster but the amount of bed wetting going on about charging £10 for ifollow. How much would a family of 4 cost them to watch an away game up at Derby for example? Some fans are just, well, embarrassing. You can not compare a family of four u...
