Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (a) sponsored by Paul McShane

Anyways ... This is the classic big away up north place we usually get nowt they’ll be looking to take us down a peg difficult match. Fancy yourselves Reading, do yer? They’ll be thinking. We’ll have to be right at it for this one and I’d take a point here we provid3d we get three v Cov. The downsid...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h) sponsored by a James Harper debut

Second goal as brilliant and the first was a shocker!

Rovrum poor this half. Reading are a patient confident team it would seem. Not very exciting.

Ha! First chance!

Shocking goal from Meite. In justice .

This team is as good as 1985 at nicking results, let’s hope.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h) sponsored by a James Harper debut

I’ve seen at least six Roth crosses going in, none from us.

Defending well but too many team changes for me.

Oh Esteves worst cross of the game.

Again absolutely nothing going forwards in first 15.

What’s the earliest we have scored this season?

Re: Would you take 4th place now?

Absolutely not. The goal has to be automatic promotion. You've a 75% chance of not getting what you want from the play-offs or in Reading's case so far 100%. The play-offs cost money, add tension and usually end in lasting disappointment, The team that goes up very often comes straight down. Ask me ...

Re: BFIT - Wycombe (H)

Closer than it should have been, especially in the last 10. Not playing like champions elect yet but the results keep coming. As already commented both subs improved the team significantly and both should start on Saturday. Some decent football played while they were on. First half atrocious again. ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h) sponsored by Keith Scott

Massive game tonight, don't underestimate the importance. Will see how far this team have come from a team, on paper we should put away comfortably. Extra incentive that if we score more than Bristol City we can go top and what a fillet going into the weekend. Come on URZ. FILLET?!! Is that...

Re: BFTG Middlesbrough

People are seriously exaggerating how boring this game was. It was lower tempo than our previous games but the team was still trying to attack and having shots... it was nowhere tear the turgidness of our worst Stamball performances. Agreed. Yes we struggled to break down Boro but we played all the...

Re: BFTG Middlesbrough

We were better side first half. Two points dropped. Owners clearly going for it this season. We need to be beating the likes of these. Solid at the back but not ambitious or energetic enough going forward. Have to create more if we’re going to finish in top two. Obvs miles better than I expected on ...

Re: BFT Watford

I have a problem with strikers being selfish because I love football, the team game.

I have a problem with Kebe not squaring the ball for Kitson to tap in at Burnley in the PO SF first leg in 2009 late on with score 0-0. We go on to lose BTW.

Both Puscas and Meite are a bit selfish IMHO.

Re: BFT Watford

Indeed WOW - deserved that and with a weakened team. (Far better than Barnsley game!).

To be honest a bit lucky to survive the first 20 minutes but after that we outfought and out-created them.

Puscas and Aluko like new men. Holmes decent. Olise hooked for showboating??

Roll on to Boro.

West Brom, Brentford or Millwall. That’s assuming the stadiums would be open and you could go to matches. Why those 3? West Brom are a proper club, fans alright, not impossible regular journey from Berks. Brentford seems a decent nearby club, reasonable fans, good story, good football, near...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

So much better than last week. Cardiff scarcely threatened us until the game was gone. Dunno what Neil Harris is on. This result in particular gives us credibility to take into the Watford match. Tragic if Joao misses it. If he does I’d take a 0-0 now because I reckon it’s our biggest test yet and f...
