Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (a) sponsored by does anyone care?

Well with a ringing endorsement from Terry, we must be on the road to being champions next season. Disappointing season but if Brighton crash out of the play-offs, I think that will go a long way to making up for it, especially after Brighton were already promoted after their long unbeaten run. I t...

Re: Are Leicester genuine title contenders?

I f Tottenham's full backs cannot defend, how come there is not a tighter defence in the premiership?

Re: Are Leicester genuine title contenders?

Win the title or not, the three points Spurs took last night were another step towards the campaign's objective.... Champions League football in the season to follow. I am,of course biased to a degree, but I cannot recollect a more powerful side(emphasis on power from front to back) than this current...

Re: Are Leicester genuine title contenders?

A Tottenham win tomorrow could start to pile the pressure on Leicester.Whatever happens with regard to the title, the remaining champion's league spots seem destined to go down to the wire, compounded by Arsenal dropping home points today.

Ah. So the "Special one" faded from the memory banks in fairly short order.

Re: CheLOLsea

You do not see many "special one" flags any more. The possibility of finishing the bottom London side in the premiership at season end must be chastening for more than a good few glory hunters.

Re: CheLOLsea

Is this the same John Terry that shagged his team mates lady? The same John Terry that often leaves his motor in disabled bays in Cobham?

Re: Are Leicester genuine title contenders?

There is if you can attract players by dint of a champions league place....mercenary,but that is the way of the world. And Spurs have something to build on,rather than looking to rebuild like a good few clubs that have been "nailed on" top four finishers in modern times.

Re: Are Leicester genuine title contenders?

I remember a "pre-season" poll of polls in the Gruniad: A good dozen were questiones as to who they thought would be champions and fill the remaining champions league spots at seasons end. Spurs got one single nomination to nick a fourth spot:Leicester,of course, nary a mention. What a wonde...

Re: Are Leicester genuine title contenders?

Even though I have been a Tottenham fan for 60 years,I would rather Leicester won the title over Spurs stealing it via goal difference in the final game of the season.

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

The discussion at the time was regarding net spend since 2001 but with particular focus on the last 5 years. You might not remember it. A man goes into a pub and spends £46.00 on a round of drinks after selling the landlord a bottle of whiskey for £75 . Another man spends £12.60 on a round. Who's s...

Perhaps Pardew would make an ideal replacement for Brian when Palace off load him?
