Re: Rumour - David Cornell

A bang average League 2 keeper with one season under his belt? Not good enough. I've heard Birmingham have 5 keepers on the books - let's just get Tomasz Kuszczak in and stop messing about

Re: Rival Watch

The Enfield Royal71 I know somebody who works in Technology at Brentford and he says they are investing an utter crap ton into them as they want their new ground to be a prem ground.

Get him to pass on the message to the people in charge that they might as well not bother.

Absolute charlatan stealing wages. Now at least he can focus on playing fortnite with kids for his youtube channel. Mug. I remember the days when you were just slightly annoying. Now you seem to be trying to emulate John Smith in some bizarre hero worshipping tribute. Pick a style and stick with it...

Re: Rival Watch

genome Brighton about to spend £25m on Bristol City's Adam Webster.

Imagine how much we could charge for Moore now

Utterly ridiculous. He's not even good - he's just a centre back

NewCorkSeth Koscielny started as a striker.

Well he's useless as a defender so I'm not sure what he's supposed to be

Re: Celtic Eye Moore

Maguire to Man United Dunk to Leicester Moore to Brighton.....a possible centre back merry go round that could happen? No problem with that at a minimum £10m. Otherwise no chance. It was going to be addition by subtraction, and we knew going in we'd have to give up something 'big' to buy big, so th...

Re: Ex Players

windermereROYAL Judging a young keeper on 45 minutes in a pre-season friendly, I despair sometimes.

I despair with why are signing young keepers as first choice for 46 games of hard graft in an unforgiving league.

Eagerly awaiting the time when I can talk about both Sam Walker and Joao Viginia being ex-players in this thread. Total dross the pair of them.

Re: CONFIMRED - Joao Virginia

Alright then, seeing as everyone is too scared to say it I will. Clearly not good enough, as expected. No experience, no composure, completely the wrong decision to give him the number one spot at a Championship club. We aren't in League 2 where players can just use us for experience. As for Sam Wal...

Re: Celtic Eye Moore

What? Don’t sell Liam Moore. He wanted to go last year, and many were fine with that. But he’s our captain and leader now. But, hey. We’d get out of FFP. Will he score 7 goals this season, and not concede free kicks and goals. Plus/ minus, etc. We could get Martinez. Or Eja. Or Baker. Or Oli’s wage...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Anyone know if the club will provide a full hot food menu for the South Stand? Last season there were no burgers on the concourse. It was very limited, perhaps as they didn’t know the demand at that time, but this season we’ve got over 1000 STH’s plus extras per game, so it’s easier to provide a fu...

Looking forward to this one, got my cheap trains a while back. Will be interesting to see how Hull do with McCann but they have made a couple of decent signings - I always rated Ryan Taffazoli from Peterborough. I think we can win this and will be a good day out in good drinking city.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Sutekh Out of interest, anyone know when the various training tops will be available, would that be the same date as the main kit?

From the megastore photos I've seen on social, it looks like training gear currently on shelf so would imagine you can get it on Sunday or online at the same time

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

There all piling in buying tickets for our parts of the ground now. Pissed me off when that happens. Surely the club needs to make it member card only or something. Few of them saying the purchased them with Sheffield addresses and weren't even questioned. If this happens again (like Leeds (h) last...

Re: Any more out the door?

I don't think people should be writing off McCleary. At this rate he will be on the bench and I wouldn't have a massive issue with that.
