Re: CONFRIMATION of the CONFIMRED

Classy touch with the e-mail to all ST holders. What does it say? Dear 72 Bus As a first step of introducing ourselves to the supporters of Reading Football Club, I want to thank you as a season ticket holder for your unequivocal support of this magnificent institution. It is fair to say that witho...

Re: CONFIMRED

I assumed most fans yesterday would have been armchair fans coming because there was more on the line, or exiles putting in extra effort. Hopefully we'll see at least 2k a week more next season with Dai gone. Yeah, what was our average this season 12k? Don't know, but there are a few influencing fa...

Plenty of Asians in the upper west yesterday, well there was until we went 3 goals down.

Re: CONFIMRED - The final countdown

There was a fair amount of anti-Couhig briefing coming out of the club as soon as the deal collapsed. This was part of it. Clearly people with an axe to grind. And plenty of people just swallowed it wholesale. Those people in the club may soon regret that. The club definitely could do with a big cl...

Re: CONFIMRED - The final countdown

I do expect an extension until the end of the season, but looking on the bright side, if Mansfield was RFCs last ever game, at least we went out on a high. Still think we will be excluded from the play offs if we make top 6 and if the sale has not gone through by early May. I'm struggling with how ...

Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

12.30 means a pretty early train for me, so it's certainly not helping entice me back. Wouldn't bother me if I was close though. On the other hand I would get home in time to have an evening. Attendance figures and season ticket renewals will give an indication of how well it's working. I haven't b...

Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

I`ve already said if the sale isn`t completed by the summer I`m not renewing. the mess coupled with more 12.30 KOs next season is enough. We`ve not had a league 3pm KO since the middle of September, sick of it. Same for me, season ticket since 2001 but these 12:30 KO's have ended that. I'll just wa...

Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

All I read hear is that no sale will take place before the end of the season. It wont happen, but the only way I can see us getting rid of the current owners is for the fans refusing to put in any money by way of season tickets or anything else during the summer, to force administration. There is n...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

Hound Would worry more about Selles bringing in some of the u21s on the very cheap that he knows have high potential and a very low sale value atm. Everyone else knows about our better players + Garcia and Bindon as it is

^ This exactly, he knows what we have coming through the academy

Re: Next manager

Can't blame Ruben for wanting to leave but to Hull? That's what I think. Hull is such an odd choice. It's uninspiring (no offence to them, just the timing and their position). I can understand his desire to get away but this doesn't feel a good choice If he goes, I'll be absolutely gutted. It would...

Re: Relegation watch

We all got doomy last season when 'there was no money left'. The firesale consisted of Tom Holmes Nelson Abbey Tom McIntyre Taylan Harris Caylan Vickers Two proper youngsters, two guys who were mostly frozen out (16 and 12 games respectively, vs Abbey's 26), and we got one of them back anyway. Errr...

Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

Seems like Selles is fed up with the whole situation then if he's going to go to Hull of all places. Not sure who else is going to want to come to the club - think our choices will be limited to Noel Hunt or some absolute random. The players are going to give up soon when it becomes clear that Dai ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cambridge United (h)

There will sadly be a lot of this. People have been burnt too many times over the last few years and whilst watching this team is a lot of fun, there will be an overarching view amongst many that until Dai is gone, this is all just a sticky plaster over a gaping wound. As is even being mentioned on...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cambridge United (h)

Perhaps some people just don’t want to get too invested in things when they know there’s a chance it’ll all be undone in a month or two when a certain someone fails to sell the club again . Sadly this. I still think this season will all end in tears. Not relegation, we'll have too many points by Ja...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cambridge United (h)

Lewis Wing. People often like to say that a player is “dictating the play” or “running the game.” I think this is often an exaggeration. I’ve never seen anyone really do it the way Wing did today. He was so pivotal to everything we did it was unreal. Sideways passing. Remember how for years most of...

Ok. Well if watching on TV you'd see that the Akande foul was relatively bad.

Decidedly orange in nature rather than yellow.

Presumably you'd also be able to see Akande isn't playing.

Snowflake Royal It's all just gone a bit meh.

ahhh Smith really telegraphed that shot to the keeper.

In that position you would keep going and make the keeper commit or the chasing defender bring you down in the area for a penalty.

Re: Bindon to be sold

Snowflake Royal That sounds an incredibly implausible amount given our situation.

Just missing an extra yard/ few inches from being clearly a top player. And he may prove to not need thatto get there.

6 ft 3 in, looks shorter on the TV though.
