General enshittification of the club?

With the latest debacle with the ticketing website, I'm just thinking about all the things around the club that have degraded since the takeover. The term ' enshittification ' springs to mind over what we've seen, tbh. Just a list I've come up with: ⋅ Stadium experience: ⋅ Basica...

Re: Luton Town (A) - Saturday 7th March

Just under 500 left now. So 722 sold in first two bands, then 120ish for those on 1400+ points this morning. Anyway IN! x 4 Best of luck with anyone attending this one, done this ground a few times, never again, absolute dump. I personally haven't done Luton yet (wanted to do it whilst I still had ...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2024/25

Certainly wasn’t a 4-1 game, but Arsenal’s finishing was impressive. Their entire squad were teenagers too. Shows the gulf between our academy and the top sides at the moment. Was impressed by Duah (despite the own goal). Wingers were direct. Ehibhatiomhan was the best of our first teamers; unlucky...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2024/25

so whats going on with Rushesha then. not in the first team, not in the u21's, not injured, not loaned out. He's an overage player (23). We can only field three, so wouldn't've been able to play last night given Ehibhatiomhan; Rinomhota; and Abrefa are also over twenty-one. In the Stoke game, you h...

Was told funding isn’t secure for next season. Apparently the running costs are between £50-60k per season, even at this level.

Re: What do people expect from a football team and manager

Brogue: You mentioned average attendances elsewhere - do you have the numbers to hand by any chance? this seasons average is 11,495... so far. only two seasons had fewer people through the door in the last 27 years (since we moved to the SCL). 1999 we had an average 11262 which we are close to losi...

The U21 game against Arsenal is at the stadium tonight. Andy Rinomhota is here, so presumably will be starting.

Whore Jackie I've 1600+ points, but can't buy a Luton ticket as a warning banner comes up saying only available for 1600+ points! Shambles.

Same thing happened to me. Eventully managed to get in and buy 2 tickets.

Had the same issue. Was complaining I wasn’t a season ticket holder (when I am).

Re: Richardson out

From mid-December to now I've picked 8 matches (from 14 played, over 50%) to show a repeating pattern of Reading leading (sometimes by 2 goals) then opposition equalise (or almost in Plymouth's case) then occasionally Reading manage to go on and win: Luton; 2-0 to Reading, Luton equalise , Reading ...

Only surprise is they've become the earliest a side has been officially relegated in League football. Even Luton managed to officially remain in the league longer when they had thirty points deducted (although that may have been in League Two, with only two relegation spots).

Has O’Neills’ jam sandwich become devoid of jam? Two defeats on the spin Great result for Hibs, the bouys ‘catholic brotherhood’ from their rival city. Shaping up for a decent climatic season end Rangers drew as well, albeit recovering from 2-0 down. Just looking at the pre-split fixtures and it ap...

Re: Managerial philosophy - is Richardson ultimately doomed?

At the core of it is that I don't think he has the right philosophy or outlook on football to really succeed, and an odd but good analogy is Southgate and England. Love this. It says a lot but not in the way you think. Southgate is head and shoulders the best England manager since 1966. On almost e...
