Zip :| Not one poster on here has suggested Gomes should be sacked. He remains very much in credit for keeping us up last season.

TBF I`m reacting to the social media kids.

Yeh but they're just 12 year olds who saw the score on teletext and nothing more.

Re: This is Poor

There's been improvement under Gomes reign but he is not the messiah. We will finish higher than last season but tactically he is not very good and his substitutions are sometimes bizarre. Fans always work in extremes, either great, or shit. He is neither, he's average and thats ok for what we need...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

It’s a huge problem. Look at West Brom in comparison. I’m not getting the hype for Puscas either. Couple of well taken goals against Cardiff and that's it. If a player like Meite had missed some of the chances Puscas has in the last few games he'd have been criticised non stop by many. Meite gets a...

Yep. Particularly concerned that we’ve lost every game after conceding first in the league It’s a huge problem. Look at West Brom in comparison. I’m not getting the hype for Puscas either. Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

As with Hull a game we should not have lost but did lose. Just seven points from seven games is a poor start to the season. Puscas again misses a big chance. He certainly cannot be accused of being a clinical finisher. Expect a small gate v Blackburn next Saturday. Yep. Particularly concerned that ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

How many times has the phrase Boye’s given it away been heard? Sounds an awful game between two pretty awful sides. With the games coming up, Reading could well be bottom 3 by the next international break. Assume you're listening on the radio as that game was actually incredibly entertaining. They ...

Re: Puscas speculation.

If someone wants to buy one of our players based on 4 appearances for £25m then I would bite their hand off. The cynic in me thinks the club might have had this in mind at the time of the deal. As in they thought he might be quite good for us and other teams would be interested? Certainly is a chan...

Jagermesiter1871 Class. Outside right? I generally just head to the concourse and buy a beer there as the stuff outside used to be crap.

I don't think you do. If you're asking questions like that then you clearly don't go to games.

Ill be honest it took me 5 years to notice the Star Hut outside the east.

So is this BCS stuff only available outside the East? Can you get to it at HT from C1871? I'm guessing not.

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

It must be purely down to the top being closed and how that affected the sound travelling as where I was sat, bottom of C1871, the noise was great and constant for all of first half with barely any chanting heard from the away stand. Either way, who really gives a oxf*rd. The atmosphere was unanimou...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Club 1871 dictating to fans how to celebrate and to not go towards the away fans. Trying to ruin the organic atmosphere and elation of scoring a goal after being goaded all game by away fans. Club 1871 also on Twitter getting extremely argumentative with fans and sarcastic and putting people...

Re: BFTG - Charlton

Was sat in c1871 for the first time and thought it was decent. Seemed like we didn't stop singing the whole first half which I don't think I've ever experienced at the mad stad other than perhaps play off games. Was with a neutral mate and he said the atmosphere was brilliant. Couldn't hear the Char...
