Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

If fans really are the 12th man and have an impact on player performances, limiting a vocal away following, even if incurring a short term cost, seems pretty smart.

Not to mention having C1871 improves our support. Whatever it takes to get 3 points.

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Its irrelevant how much it is. Either pay it and go or don't pay it and stay at home. Going to football isn't something you're forced to do, you have a choice. +1 I always find it hilarious that people moan so much about paying for something that they wouldn't have gone to anyway. Or moan so much a...

Re: BFTG Millwall

Tbf if they're talking about the full kit oxf*rd in Y26 I'm thinking of they've got a point. Proper weirdo. Don't think he's anything like 40 though. Lots of talk regarding understanding mental health issues in football nowadays and yet we have a post like this? Seen this guy at every away match I’...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h) sponsored by new manager bounce

Any luck with any other streams? My IPTV hasn't worked for weeks now  They changed app and server. The “old” IPTV server got raided in Italy, so they jumped hosts. Not sure about today, as was at the game, but reliable most of the time. Worked for me using Opera browser. Didn't work on Edge. A...

Re: Fans Forum with Mark Bowen Oct 29

This is that thing 'don't talk about Fight Club', isn't it, where STAR insist that if comments at the forum were more widely shared (than to a collection of ordinary Reading fans) then all hell would break loose. I think the lack of transparency from STAR in matters such as these is highly worrying...

tee peg
Stranded Will be on Lanzarote so this works quite nicely, might even be able to get to a pub to see it - would have had no chance with a 3pm kick off.

Will be watching in Playa Blanca.

Re: Miazga 3 Game Suspension Watch.

Except one incident left one bleeding all over his face requiring a lot of stitches and the other barely had any effect. Comparing Mings' incident and the elbow is ridiculous I did debate posting something similar but then decided it was pointless as you're literally conversing with 3 troll account...

Re: Miazga 3 Game Suspension Watch.

Justice has to be served. The same people who are defending Miazga are the same people who were crying about the Mings stamp. Agree People on this board are up in arms about Mings and still frothing at the mouth. It was a proven accident and he owned up. Let it go. For some reason our fans cry abou...

Re: Miazga 3 Game Suspension Watch.

I had assumed Miazga had been banned from English football and had return to the States in search of why he had committed such a horrific act. Are you telling me there hasn't even been a 3 match ban?

Anyone saying the Miagza incident was a clear red is an idiot. I'm sorry but you are a oxf*rd moron. It's violent conduct and will probably have a retrospective 3 game ban as the ref shouldn't have it in his post game report. Source: I'm a fully qualified ref. That's scary if you are a fully qualif...

    Re: BFTT - QPR (A)

Thing with that one is you could argue it was just a mistimed challenge. Miazga's was a clear look to see the referee had his back turned, a look at the player and then the aggression. He is going to get banned for it but in a way I am delighted we are getting a bit nasty. I watched it back a few t...

Old Man Andrews Only bad thing to come out of the evening was Miazga now facing a 3 game ban. It was a clear strike to the head behind the ref's back, ban incoming.

Anyone saying the Miagza incident was a clear red is an idiot. It was stupid of him to do as it should have given the referee a decision to make, over something needless but even if he had seen it was probably a yellow at most. Thought Rino was actually class (have been a critic in the past) and we ...

When are we closing this thread as is its painfully clear at this stage that C1871 has been a run away success. Opps fans commenting after every game how brilliant the atmosphere has been, sell out stand.
