Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Agreed with the majority of opinions, that was a great display from the team with Ejara and Puscas just outstanding. The first goal from Puscas was a solo effort from his own half, and a great left footed finish. He's quite a player and I was sitting there wondering how on earth we were able to sign...

Chaos outside the ground apparently, they've never seen more than 100 away fans. I hope the kick off gets delayed

Re: BFTG - Sheffield

Pre season optimism has totally evaporated. As I anticipated that was a poor result against an average team and you have to say Wednesday deserved it. They took their chances and played as a team. We looked lost, no plan, and just battled. When we finally attacked we should have scored, it looked li...

Re: CONFIMRED - Lucas Boye

I have a question for a rules boffin. Boye makes 4 loan signings. Rumour is we're going for another striker, while the Ejaria deal is not dead. As we have no money, I assume these would be loans, potentially up to 6 loans. You are only allowed 5 in your matchday squad. Do we get around this because...

Re: VAR

My beef with VAR offsides that are so close are based on some margin of error on when the ball is played. They never show or focus on instant the ball moves or is played, that seems to be fixed and then the offside line drawn to measure who's ankle playing someone onside. I'd be interested to know h...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (h) sponsored by new season optimism

Wednesday are more of a shambles than us, so it's a good time to play them. Lose this and it's going to be a long tough season.

Shurely the thread should be sponsored by Nigel Atkins?

Or Gomez misses Atkins?

Re: Green park station/south Reading station

I can't see it winning over the bus, the F1 loading and getting to the station takes less than 20mins. It would take you 30-40 mins to get to Rdg Station if you walked to the new Green Park station. Except when we play Newcastle and the bus loading goes to shit or midweek when there's a sell out and...

Huawei are in need of some good PR at the moment, that's probably why they passed on sponsoring our struggling team.

Re: Rumour - Ovie Ejaria

I wasn't particularly impressed with Ejaria, of all the loanees I think he was the one I wouldn't want back. Whilst he's clearly skilful and can create opportunities he seemed too lightweight and often lost in games. I'd prefer someone more physical presence and work ethic. A bit of a luxury player ...

Re: Explain like I'm five: our FFP crisis

I was going from the TTE's description of it The UEFA fair play rules are over 90 pages, but the key points to be aware of are: - The maximum loss limit is now £13m per Championship season (or £5m a season if the owner does not inject equity to cover losses). - Losses are assessed over three seasons...

Re: Explain like I'm five: our FFP crisis

It seems that we've ignored the £13m acceptable losses a season and just treated it as a 3 yr rolling £39m. Are there any penalties for our £15m and £20m losses? ie we've already breached FFP twice.

I thought they might be putting a new road in the stadium area to add to Royals Way, Hoops Way, Shooters Way and Biscuit Way.

Hopefully this will be a path from Shooters Way down to the Hurst Way roundabout with a sign saying Agility, Balance, and good knees
