Re: Green park station/south Reading station

I can't see it winning over the bus, the F1 loading and getting to the station takes less than 20mins. It would take you 30-40 mins to get to Rdg Station if you walked to the new Green Park station. Except when we play Newcastle and the bus loading goes to shit or midweek when there's a sell out and...

Re: How do football supporters travel to football games?

Should of had pre/post match beers as an option/reason you use the bus.

Re: New sponsor- Confirmed

Huawei are in need of some good PR at the moment, that's probably why they passed on sponsoring our struggling team.

Re: Rumour - Ovie Ejaria

I wasn't particularly impressed with Ejaria, of all the loanees I think he was the one I wouldn't want back. Whilst he's clearly skilful and can create opportunities he seemed too lightweight and often lost in games. I'd prefer someone more physical presence and work ethic. A bit of a luxury player ...

Re: Explain like I'm five: our FFP crisis

I was going from the TTE's description of it The UEFA fair play rules are over 90 pages, but the key points to be aware of are: - The maximum loss limit is now £13m per Championship season (or £5m a season if the owner does not inject equity to cover losses). - Losses are assessed over three seasons...

Re: Explain like I'm five: our FFP crisis

It seems that we've ignored the £13m acceptable losses a season and just treated it as a 3 yr rolling £39m. Are there any penalties for our £15m and £20m losses? ie we've already breached FFP twice.

Re: The Reading Way

I thought they might be putting a new road in the stadium area to add to Royals Way, Hoops Way, Shooters Way and Biscuit Way.

Hopefully this will be a path from Shooters Way down to the Hurst Way roundabout with a sign saying Agility, Balance, and good knees

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Just had a go just some minor gripes on registration... - there's a date format but it doesn't actually tell you they want your DoB, at least I assume that's what they want. - you need to set a password but they don't tell you that there are some password rules you need to pass until your attempt is...

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

It was always going to be a problem getting there whichever team made it, so why did UEFA decide to hold it there? Obvious answer is that Baku paid handsomely for the privilege, so UEFA should use that cash to help people get there. Doubtless they will but only for the 50k+ tickets not given to fans...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

I was thinking at the end Barca would nick a goal or get a cheap penalty but really they didn't really threaten too much, their clearest chances turned out to be offside but play continued,

it will be really sad if Liverpool don't win something this year after the season they've had.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

One game I was thankful for paying the fiver a month for BT Sport, what a cracker that was.

Quite unbelievably cheeky corner but pure genius. The only thing missing was shots of the cheating Suarez crying at the end.

Re: Financial Fair Play

I don't get the late payment thing, I usual get paid during the last full week before the end of the month which could be anywhere between the 24th and 30th depending on how the days land. eg if the first is a Wednesday I could get paid on the Monday, if it's a Tuesday it's more likely the previous ...

Re: Nigel Howe CEO statement

I hope there is some recognition that the club lost touch with its fans largely because of a succession of anonymous and silent owners, who thankfully bankrolled the club but otherwise never said much publicly.

Re: BFTG - Baggies

I thought we would have won that if it wasn't for the early injuries. Baker and Rino were good, Miazga and Moore solid and we always looked ok, We had a couple of scares but that was a good point considering the injuries, I'd like to see the McClearly pen shout again - that looked stonewall to me. I...

Re: BFTG - Brentford

As others have said we played pretty well in the first half and were unlucky not to be further ahead at the break. We looked comfortable as a team with players knowing their roles and having some confidence. There was a fluidity about our play that gives me confidence we could score goals against an...

Re: BFTG - Brentford

I thought we really looked like a team, players playing in the right position and doing the right thing and the results were coming. Shame about the late goal before HT but otherwise we were comfortable. I think we'll stay up and this team spirit will flow into next season, I'd like to sign pretty w...
