Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Good news on Pereira. I hope we don't have a big turnover of players as they often mean a slower start whilst they take time to gel.

Re: Rumour- Chem Campbell permanent

Good luck to him at Stevenage, he did a job for us but not a huge miss. He'll get plenty of game time there

Re: Charlie Savage to Wrexham

I think if we're offered £3m+ we take it. He's a great player with a lot of potential but if it gives us budget to sign 3-4 players to bulken up the squad including a couple of fullbacks and a forward to replace Sam Smith then I'm all for it. As long as he's the only player sold. It's silly money fo...

Re: Early expectations for next season

Mid Sussex Royal I don't like Nathan Jones but Charlton being out of the way probably helps, Orient will lose Kelman and the 2 Spurs guys on loan and possibly someone will come in for Wellens so can't see a major threat from them next season.

Orient will lose Kelman, Agyei and potentially their manager

Re: Early expectations for next season

Top 6 is a minimum expectation now after Charlton won. Less for a club our size and our facilities in this league is a failure. Full stop.

Re: Early expectations for next season

The main key was to get Dai gone and now with that being done, our future is something to actually look forward too and not dread. However, as others have said and I concur: We need to temper our expectations a bit under this new regime. This season we overperformed a bit and next season is not goi...

Re: Difficult Decisions

Based on what Couhig has said to the media it really feels like everything at the club is at review at the moment but seems to support the academy that we have. So I don't see any immediate changes there. Redwood won't change everything immediately so like others have mentioned I don't expect huge c...

Let's ask this question again at the end of July when we know who's staying and who we've signed

Re: Difficult Decisions

I have no problem paying more for my season ticket. Even if they go up £40-50 for renewals as we had prices frozen for so long. I also expect attendances to rise a bit now Dai has gone, hopefully see 14-15k again most weeks if we start next season well. That'll help boost turnover a bit. We will nee...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

The big advantage with Category 1 Academies is they can recruit players nationally from U15 provided the Academy player is guaranteed access to a full term education programme. Cat 2 and 3 recruitment has to be local. No idea what local actually means in distance. If it was say 40 mile radius we'd ...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Quite happy that there’s currently only 5/6 players contracted as of 1st July, means every aspect of the playing side will have to be gone over and carefully considered which can only be good. Believe the priorities are a younger experienced left back version of Andy Yiadom and a couple of decent s...

Re: Early expectations for next season

Interesting to see everyone's takes here and the arguments why. We will lose Bindon, we may even lose Savage but my expectations for us under 'normal' times should always be the top 6 in league one. Anything below that and it's a poor season. We have one of the clubs with the most potential in the d...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h)

Why is this game even being played ? No deal has been confirmed, it’s all falling apart. Even if we win we won’t be allowed in the playoffs. Just cancel the game, demolish the stadium, erase us from history. Steady on old bean. It's not over yet. Grin and bear it. There's a good chap. Yes we might ...

We should just put them in the South stand and let home fans have the corner if the demand picks up further.

That is what has happened.

I see! common sense for that to happen
