Re: Rumour - Olise to Celtic

Hadn’t realised Hammond had gone to Celtic. A bit surprised by the overconfidence on here and downplaying of Celtic lure. If Celtic want him then he’ll go and will only be a few million. As Howe has suggested we need to be cashing in on some assets. He'd be one a player that would make my blood boi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

I`ve had more pleasurable headaches than that, now 4 dead rubbers and we can put this season to bed. I get the feeling, judging by the tactics in the last few games, that we may see a lot more of this next season.....and Luton won't be in the Championship. Completely agree, home form needs to be a ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

Snowflake Royal
retro royal What's Bowen doing, this is a free hit and he goes defensive and 1 up front

We scored 5 with 1 up front just three days ago.

We played a different shape today.

To be fair I did warn not to get carried away. Luton are crap and let us play. Huddersfield are doing anything to slow it down.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

Sutekh Truly awful game. Two poor sides cancelling each other out. Reading really should be better than this tripe.

Think only Rafael and Pele have any credit after this.

Exactly why a few times I've said I don't care if he gets sacked!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

This is easily one of the worst performances of the season.

Abject. Same old shit where away teams easily get results here.

Our play really lacks bite. Although Swift is showing why he's worth massively more than £3.5m.

Snowflake Royal
Bristol Paul
Sutekh Reading are real quality at home aren’t they

They are, absolute shite aren’t they. Is there any team in the league that doesn’t dictate play against us at home?

Luton.

And maybe Barnsley and Cardiff in August

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

That is a post-Stam first season hallmark home performance.

Slow, lazy, tipid and blunt. Literally feeding off their scrappy defensive passing mistakes which we haven't punished them for.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

That was another pretty pathetic first half of performance at home.

Really lacking in tempo and oomph

Re: Squad for 2020/21

Last sentence is the key bit really Because this time last year, there were plenty of people (myself included) almost saying exactly what you were now, that the future looks bright etc with the academy except referring to the likes of Loader, Novakovich and Howe instead. None of those three are her...

Re: Squad for 2020/21

We could have a very promising future with a spine of: .........................McIntyre, Richards ...........Rinomhota ......................Olise And that's just Academy graduates with a few caps between them already. Southwood doesn't seem far off in goal. Holsgrove too. Plus there's East, Never...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

The young lads are going to need to get used to it as they will more than likely be first choice next season with our finances the way they are. No better time to give them exposure than when we have a few meaningless games left of this season. No pressure on them, time to learn and prepare for whe...

Re: Squad for 2020/21

It'll be interesting to see how many top players we let go but I think we can get away with 2 departures. Olise needs to be kept hold of at all costs. Even if we get a £10m bid! Mannone and Popa were high earners so that'll free up a bit in wages. Then we have players like McCleary and Gunter who wi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

I agree not changing the team too much. I think the only change I'd make is Osho maybe although he's likely to be here next season so wouldn't be against playing the same team for 1 more game! I think it'd be a bit unfair dropping anyone after Saturday. I'd bring Miazga back in for Charlton though ...

Re: Back from I Follow Luton

Mid table team in mid table position. Ship steadied. Just need to keep the core together for next season. There's something to build on. Basically that Again convinced we can lose 15+ players and still have enough to tread water next season I honestly wouldn't get carried away today. Luton were as ...
