Snowball 19.63% of resolved CONFIRMED cases were deaths

Slight correction for you. You need to be clearer when stating sensationalist stats.

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Approximately 150,000 people die EVERY DAY in the world and yet we have virtually shut down the global economy for 10,000 or so COVID-19 deaths - many of whom were older people who were already extremely ill in hospitals - which have become a hot bed of infection. Did you just INVENT that? I'm pret...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

So Italy is suffering a death rate double the rest of the world it seems. Is there a specific reason for that? Is it due to more elderly being infected? Is there an age breakdown for those affected? Could just be due to a different testing regime, as the reported death rate is against the amount of...

Meite would get my vote currently. Crucial goals and even if things aren't going for him he never gives up.

Re: Second season success stories

He will not be here next season, FACT. Why do you say that, got proof? Or is this another one of your "facts"? Bowen has obviously ran out of patience with him and we are still at a stage where we can command a decent fee for him. He doesn't suit our style of play, fairly obvious really. ...

Sure, but just 20 of those in the last two years. And how did he get a work permit? By not needing one as he has dual nationality ? Will this stop being a thing tomorrow when we are free from the evil clutches of the EU and their despicable laws ? No, the exact opposite. Will no longer be able to t...

Re: Rumour - the first of the Brazilians ?

Following the apparent appointment of Senor Mattos... @TalkReading tweeted Reading have held talks with São Paulo about signing Brazilian midfielders Felipe Araruna and Igor Liziero, the latter would cost €7 million #readingfc Just the likely work permit restrictions to work out then. I thought I r...

Pele 10 - definitely winning most improved player of the year, superb That's a bold claim to make after 1 match...... It’s not been one match, he was excellent against QPR. HE’s the sort of player you don’t notice when he is doing well but errors and off days really show up as he plays in such a pi...

Re: Weekend Football

It isn't nonsense. Referees are entitled to change their mind - you highlight that Atkinson ran over to Son with a yellow for the cynical foul. It almost immediately became clear to him that Son's tackle was actually 'serious foul play', because it had endangered the safety of his opponent, since t...

Re: BFTG Preston (H)

That was not a Gomes performance...with Gomes in charge we would probably have lost that game by conceding a soft goal through a defensive lapse.

The defence looked far more solid and comfortable with the more direct style of play.

At the moment we aren’t sticking the chances away, but at least we are creating them. The goals will come and the defence isn’t doing too bad.

Hound Is he the only one who left today or have I missed some others going?

Tom Holmes has gone to KSV Roeselare

Hope he gets his wages paid

Wages are paid by the parent club, with the loan club paying the parent club the wages they are contributing. So RFC have the risk, not Holmes.

Maneki Neko
John Smith True.

Anyway, the food is obviously first class but I think the queues make it pointless. Anyone disagree?

I've been thinking about this one over the weekend again for quite some time and I've decided Blue-collar Streetfood goes

Thankfully your decision counts for nothing.

Hendo Noticed that John the Greek was doing a roaring trade.

It was but the queue was mostly due to the time it took to make the orders. They had the same issue with the burrito stand against Chelsea.

Re: CONFIMRED - Lucas Boye

I assume tomorrow is too soon for him. My biggest concern is things like cultural adaptation to Championship and language barrier with rest of the squad. Manage that well and it looks like a very exciting signing. He’s Brazilian isn’t he ? So speaks Portuguese ? We must have someone at the club who...
