Re: The generic transfer thread

Darwin Nunez apparently on his way to Napoli for a deal worth about £45m. Liverpool have to sell 1 non homegrown player (plus 1 for every non home grown player brought in from here on) so, although they've made a substantial loss on him, he's the one player Liverpool fans won't be too upset about l...

RG30 Inter Milan - Boca Juniors 2-2 correct score worth a small bet at 12's. Both teams qualify to R16 with this result.

Are you suggesting.... collusion?! :o

Yeah, I don't think the problem is the price of our shirt - it's the price of football shirts overall.

Snowflake Royal I think the white shorts and socks means you lose the blue in the pattern personally. But then I'm colourblind

Explains a lot, etc...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

JJ said existing players have re-signed so why haven’t they been announced. League cleared O’Conner and club keen to get positive news out there before season ticket deadline. So why not announce? Maybe the club has been working on resigning players in some sort of preference order and doesn't want...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Given Savage is front and centre of the kit launch I'd be very surprised if the club were involved in negotiations to sell him. I'm not sure I have any concrete examples, but I'm sure that's happened before. Maybe Long? The media people aren't going to be party to transfer discussions. I don't thin...

Pepe the Horseman
Brogue I don’t think there are 600 odd better teams than us in the world.

This is why the Club World Cup should include everyone.

We'd still be drawn away to Huddersfield in the first round.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Really like it - was prepared for something much worse. Although would say it would be much better with white shorts and white socks. Think it needs the contrast with the strong blue, would have looked washed out if it was white socks and shorts Quite possibly - will be interesting to see in real l...

Pepe the Horseman Finished 1-1. Great game and a big crowd. Sure y'all will still find something to moan about though.

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Winston Biscuit I think he did much better at Hull than people realise. Took over halfway through the season when they were bottom of the league and the ppg under him for the 2nd half of the season was the 12th best in the Champ.

They're also a bit of a basket case behind the scenes.

Questions surely have to be asked of the doctor.

How can you break anti-doping rules and still be as shite as Mudryk?

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

No news ever 'breaks' any more, does it? Sky Sports says 'Sheffield United to sack Chris Wilder this week.' So he either didn't know, or now he does. Or he does know but the club hasn't announced it yet. Either way, Sky Sports leading that something is going to happen, but hasn't yet. Well apparent...

Re: Club World Cup revamp

Yeh, tbf other than this game the crowds have generally been really good. Fluminese v Dortmund this morning should be another humdinger. Really enjoying this tournament so far despite all the negativity. I mean, having LAFC play nearly 2,000 miles away can't have helped either, surely they could've...
