Re: Record Watch 25/26

Coventry match day 18: 43 points Reading match day 18: 41 points Cannot deny they are absolutely flying and scoring for fun, but whilst they are ahead of where we were, we won our next 8 on the trot. Just had a nose at their up and coming games and they have some (on paper) tough looking fixtures, ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Carlisle United (h)

The whole narrative on this thread would have been so different if Stevens had done what he should have done and saved the second goal, it was a shocking error that ultimately cost us the game (and £30k with potentially more too boot). Something along the lines of decent performance apart from first...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wrexham (h)

The ref had an absolute shocker, it cannot be that often when a ref who has given the home team a very soft penalty, and where the home team has won gets booed off the park at the end. Yes Stickers was a little naive especially as he’d booked JP quite harshly for time wasting 5 minutes earlier. How...

Re: Berks and Bucks Senior Cup 2024/5

Strange at the end as we had a long injury break for an unfortunate Bracknell player who had to be stretchered off. The ref blew for full time bang on 90 mins without playing any additional time - should have been at least 8 mins !!! John Clarke was watching and we are unlikely to see him back play...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burnley (h)

No one can seriously deny that the better side won, but I think it was closer than the scoreline suggested. When you laook at the gap in resources between the two clubs and the restrictions we're operating under, we can draw immense credit for this. Burnley will be a Premier League team again next ...

Smith simply has to stop his theatrics, refs talk and he has to be top or near the top of “league one shithouses refwatch”.

Lucky for me back in hotel room…feel for those on the buses and trains… Whilst the Ref and Lino were atrocious, it was no excuse, We were outmuscled from the first whistle, a non existent press just played into Stockport’s hands allowing them to grow in confidence. Sadly Garcia looked his age tonig...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Crawley Town (h)

I'm surprised by the number of people who seemingly only saw Button make one massive howler (presumably his perfect pass down the middle of the area to their forward). What about the one a bit before that when he let a gentle back pass go under his foot, whilst under no pressure, and only just mana...

New national league cup competition

Launched yesterday between conference prem sides and PL2 U21s, 4 game round robin then knockout.

For us old timers, our first fixture certainly catches the eye.

U21 charging

I see the club are now charging for admission to U21 fixtures, that’s moved a free night to a £15 or so night (2-3 attending and parking). Won’t be a given anymore which is a shame. I can sort of understand charging for admission, but to have to pay for parking on top when in reality there is no oth...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leyton Orient (h)

Not totally related to the match per se, rather the fact it kicks off at 3.00 pm on a Saturday. There is a fair chance the next time we do so again will be Saturday 14th December, potentially 3 months without a Saturday 15.00 kick off (FA cup and international postponements aside). We are the Man U...

genome No shots on target in a playoff final is criminal

Can't recall Reading having a shot on target in their last time in a PO final either.

Or Huddersfield if truth be told, hence why it was unquestionably the worst game of association football I have ever witnessed.

Not had a shot on target yet. Outfought on the pitch and outthought off the pitch.
